Today, my husband and I agreed that he would name our first born and I would name our second. He's dead-set on naming our child "Raindropp" no matter whether it's a boy or girl. FML

Ieta Lottava Gina sucks too

Take his bong and tell him to try again. This isn't the hippies' world anymore and we don't need their naming conventions.

Ydi for agreeing to the arrangement. You do realize that child is going to be tormented all through school right?

I don't think she knew he was going to name their first-born Raindropp when they made the agreement that he would name the kid first.

Sometimes, I don't believe that parents think of their offspring as humans with futures and feelings and friends and all sorts of other fuckery. I hearken back to a basic principle: would *you* have wished for your parents to have named you something that is only good enough for your favorite stuffed elephant? Names should have meaning, and (in my opinion) shouldn't be impossible to pronounce.

...why would you agree to this??

I get the Hippie theme, but even with all of the Hippies I hang with, none of them have kids named Raindropp. Ecspecially for a boy..

Threaten to name the next child Santa Claus if he does that (:

He would probably love it

I have an uncle whose last name is Butts. What is his first name, you might ask? Yep, it's Harry. That is a very true story.
