Today, my fiancé broke it off with me on our 3-year anniversary at 12:01 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. Guess who gets to go to family gatherings where everyone will be asking where he is. FML
Today, my girlfriend of six months dumped me over the phone. I'm in the military and recently had to move away to another fort. We'd agreed that we would try to make long distance work. I'd even offered to buy a plane ticket to come see her each weekend. I've been gone less than two weeks. FML
Today, I'm seven months into a twelve month deployment. I called my fiancée, and she dumped me. The worst part is that two days ago, I re-enlisted to go to a unit an hour away from her house. FML
Today, I broke up with my girlfriend, because her military father, who doesn't like me, continuously threatened my safety for dating her. Now he's threatening to kill me for dumping her. I can't win. FML
Today, my girlfriend of two years broke up with me because her father, who abandoned her before she was born and just reentered her life, doesn't approve. FML
Today, my girlfriend of three years broke up with me because I'm in the military and I'm gone too much. The reason I enlisted in the first place is because we agreed that the money and benefits I would earn would help us be able to start a family in the future. FML
Today, my girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me by taping a breakup note to my doorstep and ding-dong-ditching me. FML

Yikes!!! A friend of mine actually had this happen to him. It sucks, but in his case...he got VERY lucky. The Army guy was still on active duty (Solider didn't want to chance getting in trouble) and actually listened to my friend when he told the story about wifey pooh. She got divorced with no money, job, insurance, and had to balls to wonder "why?".

Ok you can't blame him for not knowing, people lie or omit information whenever it's convieniant. Also, friends lie for each other ALL the time. I know many military wives and some are scandalous ******. This is clealy one of them. Sorry to both guys involved for getting screwed.
