(I do think that among the worst scum of the world, are women who cheat on deployed soldiers - there ought to be a special clause in divorce law that allows the soldier to bail, get full custody of kids, boot the cheating spouse, and not be responsible for support, then the cheater gets charged with treason). You better find out who this guy is, and try to call his C.O. It's not your fault she lied to you. She wanted out of her marriage, and was too much of a coward (or liked her GI's monthly check too much) to do things the honest way. Hubby may not be so understanding, but there's bits of UMCJ that concern infidelity. Cheating soldiers can get busted down in rank or kicked out with a dishonorable. There's gotta be something in there that can protect both hubby and YOU from this evil woman.

First off, props to your ex gf, she must have serious game if she has men proposing to her all over the place. Anyway, it sucks that she cheated on her husband PERIOD! Doesn't matter if he's in the military or just works in a different state. OP- you should just cut off all contact with this girl and just move on. Dwelling on it isn't going to help, and just look at it as, she's really not the girl you actually fell in love with so you shouldn't be sad about losing someone who isn't the person you thought.

i dont know, they lowered the standards to being in the army maybe you can take him. dont worry hes not a marine they dont make it back much. maybe hes a fobbit who stayed in the camp while the other soldiers fought and gave them orders to die.

God I hate these fmls about unfaithful military wives! It just pisses me off that some women feel the need to disregard their husbands fighting in another country and risking their lives daily so that they can get laid. Bitches need to realize the things involved with marrying an enlisted man. It means that there is the probability of them being deployed for long periods of time. If that's something you can't handle, then don't do it. It saves them the heartbreak of coming home to find their wife that they've missed and loved in bed with another man. Seriously. [/end rant]

exactly what no. 45 said, some women just can't hack it being a military wife. It takes a certain kind of woman to be a military wife. and those who cheat, I don't even consider on the same level as me. They aren't military wives, they are lowlifes who give us faithful, devoted, happy military wives a bad name. my husband is deployed right now and I wouldn't even dream of straying. I am so sick and tired of people who believe the stereotype of military wives, but I guess maybe those who believe it haven't met the "real" military wives, the ones who are actually proud of their husbands, the ones who stay strong, faithful, devoted, and loving every single day of their lives! I very seriously doubt the validity of this fml anyway, It has been overdone far to many times.
