Today, my boyfriend texted me saying, "I can come over today. She thinks I've got work." I think he had the wrong number. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend called me over for dinner. When I walked in the door, he asked why I was here; apparently he dialed the wrong girlfriend. FML
Doppelganger
Today, I sent a text message to my boyfriend, saying, "Come over in an hour, I love you." An hour later, the doorbell rang. It was my ex, looking happy and still as smitten with me as before, with a bunch of roses. I'd got the wrong number. My ex and my boyfriend have the same name. FML

Today, my boyfriend refuses to talk to me because of a misread text. FML
Today, I called my boyfriend's job to ask him a question. His co-worker answered the phone, and when I asked for my boyfriend, he assumed I was someone else. Who exactly would that someone else be? FML
Today, I called my boyfriend to see if he wanted to come over to my house. He said he couldn't because he was out of town. That would have be perfectly acceptable, if I hadn't called him on his house phone. FML
You started it!
Today, I received a text from an unknown number that read, "I love you." Thinking it was my partner being sweet, I responded with a long, sappy message about how much they mean to me. Turns out, it was a wrong number. The person responded with, "Um, thanks but I think you have the wrong number." FML
Wrong number
Today, my ex-boyfriend texted me, saying, "I love you." Stupidly, I was very excited and replied, "At last! I still love you", to which he replied, "wrong number sorry, I don't love you." FML
Today, I got a call from the guy I have been seeing. I wasn't him. It was his wife wondering why I have her husband's number. FML
Today, my boyfriend came over and dropped off my phone, which I'd left at his place the night before. He immediately left in a sulk. As I looked through my texts, I discovered he was only so moody because I hadn't answered any of his calls or messages. I'm dating an idiot. FML
Today, I called one of my old coworkers to see how she was doing. My boyfriend answered the phone. FML

and even if he wasn't cheating, its jacked up that he lied to you in the first place, so number 23 shove it, if he can't be honest and tell the truth, there's not much of a relationship to begin with there anyways.

#26 - I assumed that she said "I think he had the wrong number" for the sake of humor. As in "I think you might be right" in a situation where, clearly, the person is right. Saying "He intended to text the girl he had been cheating on me with" totally kills the humor. While there are obviously many possible scenarios, you are limited to a certain number of characters, and she's not required to tell the whole story. It's pretty ridiculous to assume that as soon as she got the text she ran home and posted on FML without getting any more information.

I agree with #29 & #37 completely. #26, ever heard of sarcasm? Like possibly, maybe in the way "I think" was used? To the OP: If he is cheating, break his balls and then dump his ass. & LOL at #38. (:

#27- Why would he lie if he was just hanging with the boys?? And even if this is the case, the point is he lied. When you've been exposed as a liar, the amount of trust in a relationship has diminished. Trust is the basis of a relationship and if there's no trust, you basically have nothing. ***Just noticed someone already posted something like this- #34: great minds think alike eh? Lol***
