Today, my boyfriend suggested that we become "drug dealers" because I'm a chemistry student and he's seen a few episodes of Breaking Bad. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend told me, with complete confidence, that he's selected "drug dealer" as his career of choice. FML
Today, my dad tore my room apart for the second time, looking for drug-making equipment. His reasoning is that I must be dealing drugs, because I'm a chemistry major who likes to watch Breaking Bad. FML
Today, I realized I'm so desperate for money that I started to watch Breaking Bad to learn how to make meth. I stopped, not because I decided it was a bad idea, but because it looks too hard. FML
Today, my boyfriend decided that he didn't need a real job. He wants to sell pot for a living. Or hang drywall. He can't decide. FML
Today, I found out that the only reason my boyfriend got a job was so that he could buy weed. FML
Gobble gobble
Today, I had to explain to my boyfriend why he shouldn't take drugs from strangers. I'm 35 and he's 34. FML
Today, my unemployed scumbag boyfriend sold a painting I had just bought so he could buy phoney drugs that he told me he had quit. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me love is like a drug. I started tearing up because this is the most romantic he has been in a while. He then went on to break up with me, telling me that my "prescription is up". FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were talking about what we want to be when we grow up. He said he wanted to be a bartender, and single. FML
Fun fun fun!
Today, my boyfriend was helping me with my medications. While I called the pharmacy, I looked over and saw him making the pill bottles fight each other, with sound effects and funny voices. He's 33. FML

Haha! That's funny. "Excuse me teacher I can't do my work today because I will be making meth today"

Sounds like a pretty legit plan, you will be rich.

well in the sense of making money, they all are, especially meth, don't you watch the show? :p

I imagine it was just a joke but hey, could help pay off some school loans, eh?

Hahaha, what? That's funny he thinks it will actually work. Somebody needs to take a break from the TV for a little while.

Buy one of those big bags of blue rock candy that looks like the show's meth, and have him go and sell it. You need to know how good of a seller he is before you get into business with him.

That's going to get him shot, for sure.

It's the risk you take if you want to be a thug.

Maybe you should suggest he start watching another show like the BBC (not American) Sherlock and then he'll want to start his own private investigation company with you. Now THAT would be fun to watch. And your chemistry would come in handy there, too!

Good idea for a tv show, bad idea because that's really illegal and stupid. Smack him for being a moron.

I guess it beats having an honest job...

Tell him to cook up another idea. The money may be good, but not going to jail or having eyebrows should be priorities too.

What are you waiting for, OP? Go cook some (blue) stuff.

I get that all the time when I tell people I'm a Chemistry major. Honestly who would spend thousands on a Chemistry degree when it's clearly not needed to be a drug dealer. Any Joe Schmoe can look up how to make drugs online.
jamjam12 15
Not necessarily. Both Walt and Gale had masters in Chem and specialties in Crystallography and made probably the purest meth all around, which is why they made all that money compared to the "joe-schmos" who learned to cook off the internet. Besides with the money you'd be making in the meth business with those skills, you'd pay off that college debt in no time.

its a matter of making "good" drugs

It's a show. I'm not sure I would get my business model from a fictional television show. Also, the jail time associated with dealing drugs is something no sane person wants to deal with. That coupled with knowing you've probably been the cause of a few deaths is more than enough to make me disinterested.
