Today, I woke up from a nightmare that I've been having for a couple of weeks. In the nightmare I'm shot four times in the back by none other than my mother. I'm getting worried. FML

Today, for the fifth time in a row, I woke up screaming from a nightmare. My mother burst into my room, leaned in real close and said, "So help me God, if you do not stop fucking screaming, I will rip your arms off and beat you with them." I’m never sleeping again. FML
Today, I woke up sweating and gasping for air after having a terrible nightmare. The nightmare involved my deceased mother-in-law bitching me out for being a bad influence on her daughter and threatening to cut my nuts off. Even in death, she won't leave me be. FML
Today, it's been four straight nights of terrible nightmares. I’m afraid to go to sleep. FML
Today, I had a dream in which I was arguing with my mom. In the dream, she threatened to hit me, and I told her I'd do it myself. I reared back and knocked the crap out of myself. I'm awake now, and my jaw still hurts. FML
Today, I had yet another dream in which my mother and I had a sweet conversation, followed by her hugging me, and telling me she loves me. Then I woke up and remembered that my once-loving mother hasn’t spoken to me in five years, and her last words to me were, "I hope you die in a fire." FML
Today, I woke up crying in the middle of a nightmare in which my boyfriend of 8 months shot me through the heart whilst laughing as I screamed, "I love you." After I told him about this, he took me into his arms as I cried, stroked my back, and said, "What kind of gun was it?" FML
Today, I dreamt of my mom. She came over to me, and said, "Hey, I'm alright, the doctors were wrong." My mom died 4 months ago due to Covid-19 complications, and waking up shouldn't be so painful. FML
Today, my needle-phobic mother took me to get a shot. She fainted. FML
Today, I woke up from a vivid dream in which I murdered my entire family. It took 20 minutes after waking up, drenched in sweat and tears, to realize I'm not a murderer and my life is OK. This dream is recurring. FML
Today, I received a serious concussion and several stitches to the back of my head. The attacker? My mom. FML

#13, yes, you should be worried. For Christopher Walken, that is. Hilary Clinton could save the world (she may have already when she was Secretary of State), so for Walken to pick you over her would indicate that he has serious problems.

Being shot in general in your dreams usually indicates vulnerability, or a sense of "lack of security". This can be on a personal level, educational, or even professional. How to tell is usually defined based on who is doing the shooting, and who is being shot. Being shot in the back specifically can also indicate an issue with trust with that person or institution. I know personally I have a lot of trust issues and this is actually a common dream for me. Maye you just need to talk to her, open up your relationship with her, and that could fix it. If not then there is a serious problem on your subconscious, and you may want to get to the bottom of it, before it affect your dreams with everyone. Hope this helps a little bit. (I love reading up on dream meanings).

When I was a kid, my mom often became a monster in my nightmares. Now that I'm older I know it's because she couldn't handle kids, treated us badly and often screamed because she was exasperated. Meaning I was actually scared of my mother. Now I just don't have respect for her anymore.
