Today, I went out with a girl I like. After a movie, we went to McDonald's. There was this couple making out. The girl I was with remarked about how lame it would be to go to McDonald's on a date. I thought we were on a date. FML

Today, I went to the movies with a girl I like, then we went to grab a bite afterwards. She spent most of the time telling me how much she dislikes my best friend because he hooked up with a new girl. I then found out the two had been "talking" for a while. FML
Today, I went out on a first date. He insisted we go to McDonald's and split a Happy Meal because he "didn't want to waste any money on a first date." FML
Today, I went on a date with the girl of my dreams. Her boyfriend, who she said she'd broken up with, was at the same restaurant with another girl. She screamed at him for ten minutes, then they started making out, and left together. The girl he was with looked at me and said "Eww", then went to hit on another guy. FML
Today, I took a girl out on a date. We had dinner, we had good conversation, the vibe was excellent, and everything was great. I took her to a bar I frequent after for a couple of drinks to finish the night. She left with some other dude on his motorcycle. FML
Today, I went out with my best friend to McDonald's for a late night snack. Turns out she lied to me and just used me to pick up the boy she likes so they could go stargazing. I'm now laying beside them as they look at the stars and make out. I just want fries. FML
Today, I was on a date with a girl I've had feelings for since I was 14 (I'm 22). I took her out to dinner, then to a movie that we both liked and had a few drinks afterwards. I thought it was going really well until I was driving her home and she asked to be dropped off at her boyfriend's house. FML
Today, it's been a day since I've went on a date with a girl I liked. She didn't contact me back, so I presumed that she wasn't interested. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, and felt very excited. It was a McDonald's app notification. FML

Today, I went all out for a date with the girl of my dreams. I planned a romantic horse ride along a ridge down to a scenic valley for a picnic at sunset. Turns out she’s absolutely terrified of horses, and heights make her queasy. We ended up at the only restaurant nearby, McDonald’s. FML
Today, I went on a date with a great girl; we went out to dinner and saw a movie. After the movie, we went out to my car to find out that a homeless man had broken the window, climbed into it, and was eating the leftover pasta with his fingers. FML

Harsh. That so sad, darling. Cheer up though, not all girls are shallow and high maintenance!~ Why, I know a lovely couple who find that the idea of a date is going on a nice long walk, grabbing a burger or pizza at the mall, chilling out, talking for a while, and walking back home together. Simple, adorable, and they've got such good chemistry!~ That sort of relationship can't be THAT rare...can it?

I know it can seem like something rare to find. I believe that has something to do with the amount of superficial people in this world. Personally, I'm happy if my boyfriend and I just do something romantic together. Location does play a part of it, kinda difficult to have a romantic moment in a daycare. Though, if it isn't somewhere similar to a daycare then it doesn't really matter to me. We could be in a McDonald's or a 5 star restraunt for a date and I would be happy with either one. As far as the people talking about the ball pits and play area, most of the McDonald's I've seen are doing away with these. It's too much of a liability for them.

There's a difference between affection and soft core ****. One is fine and the other is not. I can't think of any reason I'd want to look up from a meal and see that the people at the next table are pretty much dry humping each other, especially when I'm with my nephew.
