Today, I went through another breakup. This will be my fourth in two years. None of them could handle or accept that I'm still best friends with my ex-husband, who is actually gay. FML

Today, I'm still in love with my ex-boyfriend, who is going out with someone else now. At least I now know that he's gay. FML
Today, my husband, who I love more than anything, announced that he was gay, couldn't live a lie anymore, and moved out of the house. I'm utterly devastated, and when I tried to cry to my friends, they said I should celebrate his courage and stop being selfish, then ran off to party with him. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years after finally realizing I'm a lesbian. He then outed me to my very religious and conservative family. FML
Today, my girlfriend of two years broke up with me. She wants to try dating women. This is the second time this has happened to me. FML
Today, I found out my ex broke up with me after 3 years because he's still in love with his ex, who he hasn't spoken to in 6 years. And she dumped him for the same reason. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. I found out he was seeing someone behind my back: my ex-boyfriend. FML
Today, I'm single again, after my now ex attacked my best friend out of jealousy, forcing me to choose between 25 years of friendship and 3 months of a relationship. FML
Today, I had to tell my ex-husband I’m a lesbian. I’m not, he just keeps trying to win me back, but it worked, he now thinks there’s no chance for us. Unfortunately, he mentioned it to my mom, who “always suspected” and is now obsessively trying to set me up with every lesbian she knows. FML
Today, after years of crushing on numerous straight guys, I now like a really close friend who is also gay. Too bad, he has already elaborated how perfect I am, but definitely not someone he could like or date. Seems I would have to move on yet again. FML
Today, I broke up with my now ex-girlfriend for the 5th time. She still hasn't got the hint. FML

no one cares if they are gay. they care if you're spending more time talking to or about them than they are about his sexual preferences, no one wants someone who speaks to their ex's if it's not necessary (kids)

No one care about the gay part. Maybe they broke up with you for other reasons like they weren't that serious in the first place. Also, if you spend too much time with anyone else and it takes time away from your lover, they have a legitimate gripe.

No one care about the gay part. Maybe they broke up with you for other reasons like they weren't that serious in the first place. Also, if you spend too much time with anyone else and it takes time away from your lover, they have a legitimate gripe.

I don't get it either. Apparently, guys prefer girls who are still connected at the hip to their exes to girls who are simply fat or members of Greenpeace. There was a whole study about this, look it up.

In the man-world I grew up in, your Ex is “man repellent”. His being gay or not has nothing to do with it - Sometimes people lie to cover up a continuing sexual relationship. … Frequently bringing up your ex means that you are still attached emotionally and that is a red flag to anyone looking for a long term relationship. … You need to decide what you want - Your ex or a fresh start. Only you can make that decision.
