Today, I was yelled at by a customer because I wouldn't give her a new iPhone 5 for free to replace her broken Nokia, which she threw out the window in "blind rage". I felt awful having to thank her for calling. Sadly, this is a daily event. FML

I'm confused... Why would she need a new phone? Her Nokia should be fine...

What a crazy bitch

C'mon man, this is what you're paid to do. You need to develop a thicker skin so her yelling at you means nothing. And be able to laugh at the craziness of people like her.

The customer told the warranty person she broke it on purpose. Idiot!

Wait... A broken Nokia? Something doesn't add up here.

Just do what I used to do. Mute the call and laugh your ass off at her sheer stupidity. That is until the day I forgot to hit mute. Oops.

"the customer is always right" is one of the worst phrases to be coined..

I'm in that same business. Everyone expects a free handout. It's pathetic.

Are you sure it wasn't Chuck Norris?

you must work for verison.

Seriously - it's Verizon. With a "z". And all cell companies get customers like this that think they are owed a new phone for any reason. We replace with the same model - or else it would be an upgrade with a fee/contract extension.

SHE BROKE A NOKIA?! She deserves the iphone if she can do that.

Blame Apple Inc. This is what you get when they replace celebrities' iPhones for free when after throw theirs out of the window in rage.
