Today, I was telling my friend how lonely I am on Skype. He responded by deleting me as a friend. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
All over the place
Today, a close, funny friend who has quite the attitude, received a long email from a long-time friend of hers, telling her how difficult she is. When I told her it doesn’t matter, that she is still wonderful, she went off on how bad a friend I am for saying that, and then deleted me off WhatsApp. FML
BFF
Today, my best friend, who I speak to pretty much all day, every single day, started dating someone and blocked and ghosted me. I guess my only close friend wasn't such a good friend after all. FML
Today, I found out my roommate Skypes my friends on my laptop when I'm away. Not only that, he covers his face and shows them his junk. My friends no longer answer Skype calls from me. FML
Today, I was in a big Skype chat, which somehow turned into a heated argument. My friend lost it, typed "your stupid" and called me a "looser." When I pointed out the irony of his messages, he rage-quit, drove all the way to my house, and punched me in the face at the door. FML
Today, I sent a friend request on facebook to the only person I became friends with this semester at college. He denied me. FML
Today, I was so lonely I called my stalker ex-boyfriend. He was too busy to talk. FML
Cut off
Today, a friend told me he no longer wishes to be my friend, not because I did something, just because he no longer looks forward to seeing me, counts down every minute until a socially acceptable time to leave, and is always thinking up excuses to either be late or not come at all. Wow, just wow. FML
Gassy
Today, my friend was confiding all her problems to me over Skype. I pressed the mute button so I could let out a fart, forgetting I'd already muted it earlier. I broke several minutes of my own silence with a devastating wet one. Now she won't talk to me. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me via Facebook. I don't even have Facebook. My friends had to tell me. FML
Tactician
Today, in the most polite and friendly way I could think of, I told a friend that she's slightly too dramatic about things. She started throwing a fit, deleted my number, and ended our seven-year friendship. FML

I've found that people who act or have depression or are lonely tend to exacerbate the problem by bringing the topics up in normal conversation. It just bums everyone out.

stfu idiot. just because someone can use the technology of the 21st century properly and you're still trying to learn to wipe your ass does not give you the right to troll.

That's because those people are so desperately searching for attention, for someone who listens to their problems and tells them everyting is going to be alright. The main problem is that their friends get tired listening to it, and start to avoid the depressed one, who gets even more depressed then.

Seriously? Ok all you have to do is this: step 1- turn off your computer step 2- call a friend step 3- go somewhere fun step 4- enjoy life with other people (face to face- NOT face-to-screen-to-face)

Maybe because nobody wants to hear about all your problems... That's why it's called YOUR problems. In all seriousness, sorry you're lonely.

People who whine about being lonely online come off as attention-seeking, and it's annoying as heck.
