I wanted to say something along these lines. Getting in the mood doesn't usually just hit you...usually something needs to trigger it, such as foreplay or a sex scene or just thinking about your person sexually.

GOOD GOD. The misogyny (and misandry too, with all the people saying that all guys want to do is have sex) is so thick here I could cut it with a knife. Sometimes people get confused in a moment of high emotion and misspeak. Sometimes communication isn't straightforward because of a fear to hurt one's partner's feelings, which is a different issue entirely. The point is, "consent" is nullified by one saying one won't like it, unless there has been a consensual agreement to BDSM or other kink practices, as the whole point of sex in a loving relationship is enjoyment for both partners.
