Today, I was at a football game with my boyfriend. I said my hands were getting cold, hoping he'd hold them. He replied, "Uh, they make pockets for a reason..." and physically showed me how to put my hands in my pockets. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Watch your step
Today, while at a football game, I had my arm around my girlfriend. We were really close and I was just about to kiss her when suddenly her phone rang. It was her dad, telling her he's watching. FML
Losing my mind
Today, I checked my jacket pocket for my smartphone, all while still holding my smartphone. FML
Today, I was making out with my boyfriend and he was moving his hand from his thigh to my chest but on the way he sort of squeezed my stomach. When I asked him why he did that, he told me that "his fingers got stuck under my roll." FML
On the fritz
Today, I handed my friend his phone, telling him he'd forgotten it. He responded by taking his phone out of his pocket and showing it to me. I then realized I was holding MY phone. FML
Die-hard supporter
Today, on a movie date with my boyfriend, it took me a while to understand why he was leaning on his elbow during the entire thing. He had an earpiece cupped in his hand and was listening to a soccer match. FML
Today, my family went to a football game. It was a little cold, but then it started to rain. I wasn't dressed for rain and I'd left my umbrella in the car. My dad wouldn't let us leave our seats for the whole game. FML
Today, I was on a subway with my boyfriend and it was stopping so I grabbed the pole for support. I felt another hand grabbing onto the pole knowing it was my boyfriend's. Without looking I carressed and tickled his hand. I turned around to smile at my boyfriend. The hand wasn't his. FML
Sketchy move
Today, I went to see a hockey game. The announcer asked if anybody found a ring in the stands, because a girl lost hers. While he talked about it, I realised that I forgot mine in my pocket, so I took MY ring and put it on my finger. A guy saw me and thought I stole the lost one. FML
It's all balls to me
Today, my family was watching a football game and kept mentioning their team's quarterback's name and, as I'm not a football fan by any means, asked them who this was. My grandma then turned to me and said, "This is why you don't have a boyfriend." FML
Today, I was feeling very ill after a severe anxiety attack. I asked my boyfriend to hold my hand until I fell asleep. He said he couldn't because he needed both hands to play on his gameboy. FML

Honestly, that's probably what I'd say too. I'm very sarcastic though...

Why would you not just ask him to hold your hands? Stop playing mind games

I hardly think that's mind games. OP probably didn't realize how clueless her boyfriend is.

He's a bloke. We're clueless about that sort of thing.

Well I can't say that he's wrong but...

instead of just hinting around you should have just grabbed his hand instead. men aren't mind readers and he probably thought he was helping.

#14 is completely right, and anybody downvoting is an idiot. Come at me, bros.

I think the down voting is coming from "He probably thought he was helping". What adult doesn't know how pockets work?

50 - Yeah, most adults know how pockets work, but it's an actual psychological thing that men try and solve what they perceive as problems by offering up the solutions they can think of. It's why a lot of men and women fight when women try to vent about their issues, just wanting someone to listen, and then men respond by trying to offer up solutions.

Doctors read fml?

57- That's fine and all but when you answer someone the way the bf did it was for one of three reasons: to be funny, to help or to be an asshole. I thoroughly doubt he actually thought he was helping. I'd lean more toward the funny route. Its like if you walk up to someone painting a wall and say "Hey you should put the paint on the brush before you put the brush on the wall."

Get over it or move on.

You should have put your hands in his pocket.
RedPillSucks 33
Funnier if she put her cold hands down inside the front of his pants.

Not really the romantical guy, is he? ^^

could just try holding his hands...Idk...

I can see how you're upset but I don't see why you didn't just ask him to warm you're hands, we guys can be pretty oblivious

never disturb a guy while he is watching games.. one simple rule...

Maybe men are just deeper than you think. While you're upset that he didn't take your hands, perhaps he's off posting a similar FML elsewhere, all 'Today my girlfriend was sitting next to me, and started complaining about her hands being cold instead of just holding my hands...' Or, y'know, maybe guys just don't think in 'clues' and you should have just held his hands off your own initiative. *shrug*
