Today, I totalled my car. I flipped it over on the freeway and broke my collarbone in the process. I was in extreme pain and unable to move. It took the ambulance an hour to get there in rush hour traffic. The song repeating on my iPod was, "Don't Worry, be Happy." FML

Today, I was in the car going to a concert with my family. I was listening to my iPod, when the wheel broke and I couldn't change the song. So for the rest of the trip, I was stuck either listening to my parents arguing, or Don't Worry, Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin on repeat. FML
Today, while driving to work in heavy traffic, I got so into the song I was listening to that I tapped my foot on the gas to the beat. I rear-ended the car in front of me. FML
Today, I crashed my car into a bridge, while playing a song with the line, "I crashed my car into a bridge". FML
Today, I was driving down a highway during rush-hour. I heard my phone ring and couldn't find it. I bent down to feel around for it and got in an accident and totaled my car. The ringing? A commercial on the radio. Where was my phone? On my dresser at home. FML
Today, a car was waiting for me to cross the street so I thought it would be funny to slowly limp across the street. When I got to the end, I jumped as high as I could to show I was faking. Turns out I tripped and hit my head hard on the sidewalk. That car took me to the hospital. FML
Today, it was my 19th birthday. My boss let me out early to celebrate. On my way home I was hit by a man doing 65 in a 40mph stretch of road. My car was completely destroyed. I spent the rest of my birthday sitting in the ER being treated for a pinched shoulder nerve and whiplash. FML
Today, I was T-boned at an intersection. In an ambulance. On the way to the hospital after being T-boned at an intersection. FML
Today, I was singing while driving through the car park. I blacked out trying to hit a high note, and ended up bashing into another car. FML
Today, I totaled my car whilst rushing to pick up my son from daycare. This happened as I was leaving the hospital, after dropping off a wheelchair to my recently disabled wife, who is taking care of our newborn in the special care unit. FML
Today, I was driving my motorcycle, and I noticed someone was in the ditch, so I went to go help them. When the ambulance showed up, they ran over my bike, totaling it. FML

Heh, you might want to think a little more before calling Fake. Not sure how you missed it but the Op is saying they were pinned down in the car after the accident and couldn't move. The iPod was still playing but stuck on that song. And then it took the ambulance an hour to get to the Op and remove her from the car so while she was unable to move and waiting for the ambulance she had to listen to that song over and over for an hour.

Or break the stereo. Or shut the car off if it was plugged into the radio. Or disconnect the ipod from the radio. Or it's FM transmitter. Any way you look at it, it's damn near impossible. Fake or exaggerated.

Thanks love ;) So we're meeting up later then? I am feeling quite randy. It doesn't really matter if it's fake or not... The point is it's extremely unlikely for, in such a severe crash, the radio to stay on and audio to still function. The probability of there being enough damage to break bones in most cars without doing severe body and mechanical damage is extremely unlikely, unless the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt. I speak from the standpoint of a mechanic, and seeing so many damaged cars, and knowing how they work, all I was saying was it's really, really, REALLY unlikely. Unless of course OP has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, in which case she would be even more beat up than described. Which is why, I suppose, it's an FML- because the actual chance of this happening is so rare that OP's L is F'd.

Aaand another one who doesn't realize all FML stories have to begin with "Today". OP, I feel sorry for you. Not only because of the pain and the hassle ... I think I'd have gone insane in your situation.
