Today, I told my parents that I wasn't feeling very social and up for company. How do they try to make me feel better? By inviting a whole bunch of people I don't know to a pool party at my house. They said I should face my fears. I'm now in my room, hiding. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Safety first
Today, my parents had my little sister's birthday pool party at our house. My mom decided to tell all the guests that the pool was "just for decoration" and nobody would actually be allowed to swim in it. Cue a million screaming tantrums and my parents and even me receiving tons of hate. FML
Party pooper
Today, I was at a really big party and everyone was showing off by flipping into the pool one by one. When it was my go, I attempted a back flip, cracked my head open on the side of the pool, and was rushed to hospital. Now everyone hates me cause the party was forced to shut down. FML
Today, I overheard my parents discussing whether or not they could trust me being alone in the house for 2 days. They then came to the decision that I'm too unpopular and unattractive to ever throw a wild party or get laid. FML
Et tu, Chandler?
Today, I found out that when my friends say they're too busy to hang out with me, what they really mean is that they're going to have an awesome pool party, and don't want me to come. The Instagram stories say it all. FML
Behave!
Today, I told my mom I was going swimming with friends. She told me, in front of them, not to go into the deep end unless there was an adult around because I'm not old enough to swim on my own. I'm 19. FML
Today, my dad had a go at me because he thought I was embarrassed by him and that was why I never invited any of my friends over. I was too embarrassed to tell him it's actually because I don't have any friends to invite over. FML
Today, my mother asked me why I disliked her and my father's nakedness in the family pool. FML
Today, I've invited friends and family to my birthday party. I've also come home to find that my parents didn't pay the water bill. I either have to tell everyone I know that they are uninvited or not to take dumps in my house. FML
Today, I laid in bed until 3am kept up by a house party. In my own house. Which my housemates didn't invite me to. FML
Lonely boy hiding behind the front door
Today, I learned that my parents know that I have no friends when they told me to go and make some. FML

Your parents make no sense. You simply said you don't feel like company, not that you have a social phobia. Not that having a raucous pool party would be a good way to force your child to get over their social phobia anyway.

most people who post on this site complain about getting ditched and you're bitching about not having the balls to hang out with people? YDI, grow a pair.

Obviously this isn't the 1st tine you've said you're "not feeling social"--your parents wouldn't have called it a fear if it were. They are just trying to get you to socialize. It's what humans do.

Humans also spend time alone. Just because her parents think she's afraid of socializing doesn't mean she actually is. There's a strong Western bias against introversion, particularly among young people. The party was probably more of a response to their own fears that OP isn't "normal."

Kick everyone out. It's your house after all is it not? Call the police and say you have all these randoms appearing and won't leave. Oh and get your parents arrested at the same time for the fun of it. ;-)

Once again, I tell someone: I am SO glad that YOU moderated this. You saved the rest of us the trouble of clicking that little "yes" button. How can we ever repay you? I like ^ that person's idea of a cookie or parade, but why not combine them? A COOKIE PARADE! YAAAAAAAAAY!
