Today, I stumbled across "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" on TV and realized that these awful freaks are going to make more money than I ever will. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was convinced by my friends to watch an episode of the American TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". They said it was bad, but I didn't anticipate having a full-blown panic attack ten minutes into it. FML
Life imitates art
Today, I realized that I've watched so much Honey Boo Boo that I've developed a mild southern accent. FML
Meet the parents
Today, I met my girlfriend's parents. Remember the show Honey Boo Boo? They seem sophisticated compared to the family of weirdoes I got to meet. It's almost got me reconsidering my planned proposal. FML
Empathy
Today, my friends were showing me infomercials and laughing at how clumsy and stupid the people were. I could relate to every single one of them. FML
Today, I hit rock bottom; I watched one of those shitty infomercial channels, without even being forced into it at gunpoint. Even worse is that I practically creamed myself over a damn fruit juicer, all because it was 50% off and I could actually afford it. FML
Morbid cringe
Today, I realized just how pathetic my life is when I found myself fascinated by videos that a woman posts on YouTube of her removing ingrown hairs and zits from people’s private areas. FML
Looks aren't everything
Today, I was watching "My 600-lb Life". Most of the people on the show are married or in relationships. I cant even find a relationship. FML
Hell no!
Today, I found out that my mother has been making videos every time she babysits my kids (who are 2 and 6 years-old) and uploading them to YouTube. She's retired, but out of boredom and need for attention, she seems to have tried making a family vlog channel, but with MY kids. FML
Family channels have issues
Today, I'm 16, my sister is 13 and our little brother is 9. Our parents just told us their plans to start a family vlog on YouTube, because, "It's made people rich. Don't you want to be rich?" I said I didn't want to be a part of such a humiliating enterprise, but they started filming me, as a "first family argument video." FML
A star is born
Today, I discovered that my niece is making a killing with her vlog's revenue by adding a small segment. It features hidden camera footage of her eccentric uncle's daily life: from various reactions while playing a video game, to singing like a dork while working out, and being a huge nerd at everything. It's me. FML

Change the channel next time you are channel surfing.

Doesn't make the horror go away, unfortunately. Just postpones it until you have to sleep... Plus, those 'freaks' are still going to be getting shit tons of cash/views from many, many other 'stupids' around the world.

Reality stars generally don't make much money their first season. Also, when you give irresponsible people money, they tend to lose it. Hope this perspective makes you feel better. (worst part is this garbage is on The Learning Channel)

Perhaps the show is meant as a cautionary tale rather than as an example to emulate. That is the only explanation I can offer for the station on which it airs.

Exactly! We're learning what places to avoid.

My special go-go juice is gonna help me wiiiinnnn. That show is so trashy. -.-

I googled it. The family will make $40,000 total for the first season (10 episodes).

That's just for the show. Think about how much money they will get from the publicity.

That's $10,000 more than what my mom makes basically working full time everyday, it's a damn shame.

Another pointless and twisted reality show that should never have started. When I first spotted that name on the net I has to click to see what it was I laughed so hard I almost cried. Oh yes let's encourage a spoiled brat who's basically a ham with curls and pay them for it. Nice going America. Here's a thought nobody watch the brainless dribble and they'll yank it off the air with any luck. Agreed 27 trashy.

quite frankly, if ya don't like it, don't watch it. there problem solved
afairshake 8
Well I've never watched it I'm not that bored or stupid I've just caught commercials and saw a story about it on the net it's ridiculous

You could've stopped at 'on TV', because I already say FYL on that one--in fact F all of our lives for that show even existing.

Isn't it just sad? How pathetic is our society?
xx000o 27
Our society as a whole is composed of decent hard working people. It's the minuscule minority that creates this crap that is supposed to represent all of us. Solution; don't watch.

I'm glad you REDNECKOGNIZED :)

I was wondering when an FML about Honey Boo Boo was going to come up. Those people are making more money than most people, not just you.

I just wish they lived anywhere else but Georgia. Every time I'm traveling and someone finds out where I live I have to explain that we aren't all like that. People seriously think that family is an honest representation of your average southerner. Makes me sad.

I'm from jersey, I'm not a Guido, welcome to the club
urbangiraffe 3
Watch yourself bro or I'll go all Dirty Jersey on you. Haha :P

Being a Southerner, I do understand how defensive Jersey Shore must have made you. I feel exactly the same way. TLC is exploiting the stereotype and it is sickening.
