Today, I stumbled across "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" on TV and realized that these awful freaks are going to make more money than I ever will. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was convinced by my friends to watch an episode of the American TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". They said it was bad, but I didn't anticipate having a full-blown panic attack ten minutes into it. FML
Life imitates art
Today, I realized that I've watched so much Honey Boo Boo that I've developed a mild southern accent. FML
Meet the parents
Today, I met my girlfriend's parents. Remember the show Honey Boo Boo? They seem sophisticated compared to the family of weirdoes I got to meet. It's almost got me reconsidering my planned proposal. FML
Empathy
Today, my friends were showing me infomercials and laughing at how clumsy and stupid the people were. I could relate to every single one of them. FML
Today, I hit rock bottom; I watched one of those shitty infomercial channels, without even being forced into it at gunpoint. Even worse is that I practically creamed myself over a damn fruit juicer, all because it was 50% off and I could actually afford it. FML
Morbid cringe
Today, I realized just how pathetic my life is when I found myself fascinated by videos that a woman posts on YouTube of her removing ingrown hairs and zits from people’s private areas. FML
Looks aren't everything
Today, I was watching "My 600-lb Life". Most of the people on the show are married or in relationships. I cant even find a relationship. FML
Hell no!
Today, I found out that my mother has been making videos every time she babysits my kids (who are 2 and 6 years-old) and uploading them to YouTube. She's retired, but out of boredom and need for attention, she seems to have tried making a family vlog channel, but with MY kids. FML
Family channels have issues
Today, I'm 16, my sister is 13 and our little brother is 9. Our parents just told us their plans to start a family vlog on YouTube, because, "It's made people rich. Don't you want to be rich?" I said I didn't want to be a part of such a humiliating enterprise, but they started filming me, as a "first family argument video." FML
A star is born
Today, I discovered that my niece is making a killing with her vlog's revenue by adding a small segment. It features hidden camera footage of her eccentric uncle's daily life: from various reactions while playing a video game, to singing like a dork while working out, and being a huge nerd at everything. It's me. FML

I'm from Georgia and we don't act like this. With the roadkill though, who cares. You need to think at least they aren't taking our money for food stamps, or on wellfare. They provide a lot better than most of these families do in America. So what they make more money than you get out and do something with your life to make that much money.

I had that same revelation when jersey shore came out. Just know that you have more sense than them and you work hard for what you have.

I feel sorry for that kid. She has no say in how she is being raised (and exploited). She knows nothing else but that life and thinks it is normal. I want to punch the parents in their throats.

There are some quality shows i watch on TLC but this is not one of them. I have to mute the TV during commercial breaks or change the channel. They seem to play that shows promo during every commercial break and sometimes twice.

The sad reality of the world we live in. You don't need talent or have to work hard anymore to earn a great amount of money. Just act like freaks and just wait for the TV camera's. It's sad that so much money will be spend on shows and people like these, while there are other people who could really use the money for whatever reason. But at the same time it can be quite relaxing in my opinion to watch dumb shows like these. A great way to shut your brain off for a while while you're watching. I'm always amazed at how stupid the people are on most reality shows. It makes you realize how great your own life is, compared to theirs, simply because you have a fully functioning brain, which most of them seem to lack. :)
