Today, I signed in my msn messenger. Everyone in my friends list apparently changed their status to 'busy' or 'away' when they saw me online, including my crush. FML

Today, I was going through my old MSN conversations. I then realized that when I first got MSN, I didn't know that messages you sent after people went offline would be delivered to them when they signed in. I used to type 'I love you' to my crush after every time he went offline. FML
Today, I told my girlfriend over MSN that we had to talk. I log on to facebook and the first thing I see is that she changed our relationship from "In a Relationship" to "It's Complicated." FML
Today, I picked up my computer which had been at the repair shop for two weeks. I quickly logged on to MSN to talk to the girl who I'd been hitting on for weeks. Her profile picture was a photo of herself with her new boyfriend. FML
Today, I logged on to MSN for the first time in a month. In under 10 minutes, I found out that my little sister had changed my screen name to Jake the Weiner, told my friend that he should "suck my d***" and sent an email to all my contacts declaring my love for my best friend. FML
Today, I logged onto Facebook to find out that my boyfriend is now listed as single. News to me. FML
Today, my girlfriend "accidentally" set her relationship status to "single", and 20 of my friends "liked" it, including my mom. FML
Today, I got fired over MSN. I wasn't even online at the time. FML
Today, I found the password to my boyfriend's MSN account. I was listed in the "booty call" category. FML
Today, I saw the girl I had started dating changed her Facebook relationship status to "In a relationship". Naturally, I changed mine too. The next time I logged on, she had commented, "Really?! Who?!" She was serious. FML
Today, I came home from work and turned on the computer. I logged onto Facebook and saw I had a bunch of notifications. Turns out, everyone on Facebook knew I was single before I did. FML

Well, I doubt they did it because you signed in. I block all the annoying people, I'd never bother to change my status whenever someone I don't like signed in.

if you're determined, sign in invisibly and catch people off guard when they're displayed as online. or, if you want to be really slick, create a new account, add all your old friends, and then try to chat with them

RR05 - you do realize that you've just placed yourself at risk for legal ramifications if this person does actually kill themselves right? By telling them to kill themselves and then they actually do commit suicide you would be an accessory to it bc they will pull this persons computer and see your comment and naturally assume it had something to do with your comment then access your account and hold you responsible. We are all witnesses too. All over a smarmy comment that you think makes you look superior to this person, am i right? Good job. Hope you like prison. Don't drop the soap. OP quit being so paranoid. You should be out living your life, not worried about who is not in it. Having a crush is stupid anyway.
