Today, I saw a small bug on the wall, so I decided to send it straight to the insect afterlife by smashing it with a book. The book crushed it, and caused my clock to come free from the wall and crash down onto my TV. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was laying on the couch, reading, when I noticed a spindly leg poking round the corner of my book. Upon realising it was a spider, I calmly and rationally threw my book across the room, breaking the TV. FML
Gotcha
Today, I noticed an extremely large bug buzzing around my room. After several attempts, I stomped on it with my shoe. I was trying to get a closer look at my victory when it flew into my nostril. Turns out it was just playing dead. FML
Today, a moth was flying around my house. Annoyed, I picked up a shoe to crush it with. The moth landed on a light fixture on the ceiling, so I made my move. Dead, the moth slipped gracefully through air and onto my head. So did the light fixture. FML
Masterful gambit
Today, I saw a spider crawling across a poster in my bedroom, so I smacked the spot below it to scare the spider into climbing back up the wall. Instead, because the poster wasn't completely flat to the wall, I catapulted the spider straight into my face. FML
Anger management
Today, about to fall asleep, a bug started buzzing behind the screen to my window. Losing my sanity, I punched the screen, forgetting all about the glass. I now have a cracked window and one still annoying bug. FML
Today, I saw what I thought was a spider. Wanting to kill it as quickly as possible, I smacked my hand against the wall with force. It was a nail. FML
Today, I ruined my computer screen trying to kill a fly. FML
Lightbulb moment
Today, I tried to smack a fly that was buzzing around my room. I ended up hitting the wall a little too hard, scaring my cat, who jumped up and ran under the bed, knocking over a lamp. The fly is fine. FML
Today, I was in my basement when I saw a giant cricket on the floor. I found an old plastic bottle of orange paint to drop on it and did so from about five feet up. The bottle exploded and splattered the walls and floor like a crime scene. The cricket hopped away untouched. FML
Today, as I was using my mom's computer, a spider crawled onto the screen. So as per my usual reaction to seeing a spider, I smashed it as fast as I could. I missed the spider, but now I have to buy my mom a new monitor. FML

Karma must love bugs
Feared 9
Or maybe Karma just hates TV.
Goldenchest 14
Y'know.. They make flyswatters for a reason
sens3sfailing 25
Book, they make destructive (but efficient) fly swatters.
Mioko_fml 6
I wouldn't call it karma unless it's one of those bugs that benefits the world (bees, butterfly etc).
TheMathMajor 26
If a bug is part of an ecosystem, it is beneficial. Just because it might not be helpful to humans directly, doesn't mean it doesn't have some other role.
chabooty27 7
No op was saying that she was trying to swat the fly and she got it and she killed it and then something bad happened to her because she did something bad something bad happened to her. That's why its karma it has nothing to do with the fly, just with op
sonuskos 6
Dafuq did I just read 28
camimiller16 5
Aw bad luck, next time just squish the bug with a napkin
_Oblivion_ 12
I thought he was going to say it made a hole in the wall but a broken tv serves just as well.
chabooty27 7
Actually it was two sentences
Zya_fml 8
Dear god 28, your comment kills the mind.
IW_RIOT 7
Or maybe shit happens.
P374RD3D 9
#28 1st of all, in no way did OP mention that the bug was a fly. 2nd of all, OP knocked his/her clock down with the book. Your argument is invalid.
ninjadinos 14
If it was a mosquito it was worth it!
MinecraftGeek 8
28: Oh for the love of all that is holly! Please, and I can't stress this enough, please use commas!
gmc_blossom 21
28- Because **** punctuation, that's why.

I agree with everyone on the bug's side. Today, I found a fruit fly in my full glass of wine. I was pissed, as I'd been looking forward to drinking it. Ready to toss it down the drain and pour myself a new glass, I noticed the bug was still alive, swimming around, trying to get out. As I fished the thing out to let it outside, my roommate cut her eyes at me and told me how I was "so ******* annoying." Call me a bleeding heart, but at the end of the day I feel better about myself, and I guess I'll get the last laugh in the next life when some bug decides to spare my life lol
onlychildFTW 34
Apparently karma lives bugs and dislikes OP.
BlueberryCrayon5 4
yup karma probably loves bugs and hates TV's :p
frokeyman92 9
Or it could have been the amount of force hitting the wall causing the clock to fall. Karma is a bitch though.
CountDuk 5
Karma's a bitch, ain't it?
heygirlie777 21
Except now instead of a female dog it's a female bug.
Udderboy 4
It was only a matter of time...
guy24 9
The soul of the bug sent a message. :P
mars13_fml 8
Karma loves doing instant revenge for things that are to small to defend themselves :)
cheshireau 26
Definitely! Because it's just too hard to move the bug outside with a piece of paper.
gmc_blossom 21
Maybe if we stopped calling Karma a bitch, it would stop being so mean to us.
Petepoop 6
Now you can catch up on your reading!
ThePolloBandito 13
101- Winner.
Trix_Disorder 20
I'd call this overkill/clumsiness... Not karma. Karma does not exist.
HairyPunisher 27
120, Some of us believe in karma. Why you being a wet blanket? :-P
Trix_Disorder 20
We've discussed it on previous FMLs. It's silly to blame something like this on karma.

The clock got bored of being on the wall
howdeedoo 22
Or the wall got tired of holding the clock.
TurtleHabitat 0
My turtle gets bored sometimes.
SenselessPattern 12
I'm sorry to hear that.
DrAtomic 0
So it decided to get hot with the TV? Sounds legit.
kamikrazy 6
I am bored while reading this FML. Sorry about your turtle. :(
Mioko_fml 6
How hard you need to hit with a book on a tiny bug? You could just squish it witj tissue, but i guess you must really hate that bug to sacrifice your TV.
NanillaVipples 2
That much force could only be justified if it's a spider.
Feared 9
Hey when it comes to any task, always go big or go home.
SenselessPattern 12
In this case, she was home so I don't understand why she had to go big too. Some people just have to have it all.
junkman6 22
If its go big or go home pull out a shotgun on that gnat!
fireysaje 10
Then she should've done it right and whipped out a pistol
nevershoutkendal_fml 11
At least it didn't come crashing down onto your head.
HaiPanda 4
I rather have the clock fall on my head.
MURIKKA 11
At least the force of the book didn't destabilize the foundation of your house, causing the entire thing to cave in on you, OP. You got off easy.
loserboii 11
OP's head is worth less than the television .
gc327072 31
45- that happened to my cousin the other day. Lucky to be alive.
BlueberryCrayon5 4
Hi k. notice all I put was k so don't.get mad cuz Its not like i put your real name or or anything :) k bye
gmc_blossom 21
90- Dafuq?
ShyAnn29 15
102, 90 was talking to 9
gmc_blossom 21
156- Okay. But, still. Dafuq.
Brattyninja 7
Karma it is! Maybe next time you should just take the bug outside, you'll be saving insects and televisions.
GracesDelirium 9
Maybe the bug was an atheist, so it welcomed death and it's possible adventures....and decided to bring your tv along for the ride. :D
Marcella1016 32
Moved comment, realized it belongs somewhere else. - Nothing to see here, move along... -
Ins0mau 20
66 - Atheists get to go on afterlife adventures now?
fireysaje 10
No, no we don't.
GracesDelirium 9
Yes we do. It's called, 'seeing if you were right or not'.
awebb21 7
I hate those little bugs bc today I made a cake and a bug landed in the frosting. I had to scrap it off and it ruined it
neverdrinkSODA 12
oh stop it.. bugs aren't that bad
scrappy23 4
13, cool story bro....
Dixbfloppin 11
You should totally make an FML about it.
tne201992 12
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who found this story pointless.
devydev92 5
Damn use your finger if it's that small, YDI.
graffitied_love 20
I don't know if this is a case of YDI or FML.....
unknown_user5566 27
42- FML wouldn't really be an option anyway, since it didn't happen to you. ;)
gmc_blossom 21
14- That's what she said. ;)
LordVader789 3
Lol epic fail
Rainbowjumper0 12
I don't see how this is epic in any way
alwayswinning123 7
Maybe it's a sign to not kill bugs anymore
