Today, I sat to the right of a girl I really like. I passed her a note asking her to homecoming. She read it, then hurriedly passed it to a hideous girl sitting on her left, who said yes, then hugged me. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I passed the girl I like a note asking her out, signed Mark H. She picked it up, read it, turned around and asked me, "Do you know who Mark H. is?" FML
Today, I was going to ask this girl I love to homecoming. I set up a scavenger hunt, and my friend led her through it. At the end of the scavenger hunt I had a note that said, "Homecoming?" She said yes and hugged my friend. When I told her it was me who was asking, she laughed and said no. FML
And they call it puppy love…
Today, I gathered the courage and wrote a love letter to put in the girl I like's school bag, at the end of classes. I felt anxious for a response. Her bag turned out to be her cousin's, and I became a joke in the classroom. FML
Today, a classmate came up to me, quickly shoved a dollar bill down my shirt, threw her arms around me and told me to pretend I was her boyfriend to avoid some other guy. Sad thing is, this is the first girl I've hugged in ages. FML
Today, I found out that the girl I've been in love with for a long while got back together with her ex boyfriend because he had confessed his true feelings to her through a note in her locker. It was my note. FML
You IDIOT
Today, I was approached by the head cheerleader, and she asked for my number. I was so excited that I gave it to her without question. Then she smiled, and walked away. Too bad my girlfriend was right behind me when it happened. FML
Today, I got asked to Homecoming by the person I really like. I said yes and I was really excited. But my best friend who has liked me since the 6th grade wasn't. He went and broke my date's jaw. FML
Today, a cute girl was walking towards me. She held up her hand for a high five, so I also did the same. I hadn't noticed her friend behind me, and was left hanging and embarrassed. FML
Today, I found a note in my locker from a really hot guy asking me to prom. I went up to him saying how excited I was to go. He said "Oh you got the note?" and slipped it into the locker next to me. FML
Unforgettable
Today, I went out to lunch with two old friends from high school. While at the restaurant, we saw a girl who we graduated with. The girl gave both of them hugs, then introduced herself to me. FML

so its wrong to think a girl is unattractive? so do you say "yes" to every guy who asks you out, and you wouldn't dare call a guy ugly or unattractive? I hate this double standard where whiny fat girls say "ALL WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL HOW DARE YOU NOT SAY YES!!" but have no problem gossiping about the ugly guy that just tried to ask your friend out. sorry but this isn't a perfect world of flowers and butterflies and unicorns where every girl is a princess.

that sucks...she couldve just said no, without doing that.

It's too bad your crush doesn't like you but calling the girl sitting next to her "hideous" is going too far. I mean, you could have just said you aren't attracted to her and leave it at that.

IT seems that no one realizes that he probably didn't call her hideous in real life. Unless you really care how he words "She's ******* ugly" to a bunch of internet strangers.

YDI for calling her hideous. Thats low.

Who the **** cares? She'll never see this thread, and even if she does she won't know it's her. No one who knows her would know the OP is talking about her. Seriously, people got to stop being so sensitive.

This somewhat reminds me of a situation I encountered before my junior prom. I was going to write a note and leave it in the locker of the girl I wanted to go with, but my music teacher convinced me to ask the girl in a special way. BuiIding up my courage, I ran off to the main office and convinced the person manning the AP school speaker system to let me use it for a brief amount of time; I used it to broadcast a message (over the entire school) for the girl to meet me in the music room after class was over. I returned to class just in time for my intended date to show up and I asked her (face-to-face) if she would be my date; unfortunately, she turned me down, stating that someone else had asked her. Even though what I wanted never happened as desired, I still had the balls to do it. OP, next time, man the hell up and confront the girl face-to-face...

It's your own fault. You deserve it for asking a girl to homecoming through a note. No girl likes that and I would've turned you down too.

Do the honorable thing and take her out. She might turn out to be a very likeable person. Anyway, you would hurt her feelings badly if you break your date with her. Its always best to never hurt someone. People will respect you because you were willing to be kind. If you hurt her then people will think poorly of you. Yeare from now, you will regret hurting someone else when you didn't have to .

"Its always best to never hurt someone. People will respect you because you were willing to be kind. " What highschool (or elementary school given the note passing) did you go to? Where you'll be respected for going to a dance with an ugly girl and not hurting her feels? I'd personally tell the girl about the situation./

it probably wouldve been a lot smoother if you asked her in person. girls appreciate that. and hey at least you're going with someone to homecoming, some people end up going alone. and if its really a problem im sure u can work something out

You dumbass. He said he was to her right.

Ok apparently it needs further explaination on the physical positioning of the situation for the thick-headed individuals who are attacking that instead of the actual situation. The OP stated he sat to HER right. So the set up was as follows: girl that said yes, girl that passed note, OP

Maybe she already had a date, and felt bad for the other girl. It doesn't mean she's an asshole, it just means she didn't want to go to homecoming with him. In a few years, nobody cares who you went to homecoming with. It's prom that matters.
mike1921 0
No, that means she's an asshole. Setting up someone with a date they don't want and absolutely can't get out of makes you an asshole
Dr_Know 0
No it doesn't, she might have really thought the msg was for the other girl - it obviously didn't have a name on it. Also since when is it Impossible to get out of a random date asked for through a note. It's quite simple just say 'Sorry that note was meant for someone else!'

You misunderstand. I mean the girl was an asshole if #138 was right when she said "Maybe she already had a date, and felt bad for the other girl. ". I'm not saying that the girl was an asshole no matter what And, fair enough, he could get out. But not without making the OP feel bad, the hideous chick feel bad, or both.
