Today, I realized that it's become a regular occurrence for my mother and me to talk about our pubic hair. I don't know which is worse, the fact that I now know that she shaves it, or the fact that we even talk about this stuff. FML

OP we need to know your gender because that really changes things.

OP is female. There's a female symbol right next to the name.

I don't get how talking about pubic hair is a bad thing.

there's just some convos u don't have w your parents. .

Family that shaves together stays together

These kinds of conversations with mom become more common as you get older. I asked my mom the other day if it was normal to have some grey pubes (yes, my pubes are going grey before the hair on my head is lol)

wahh, go complain about your family bonding issues at an orphanage.

Always did!!

Sounds like to me that you and your mother have a great relationship where you can freely talk about anything.

My mother and I are very close and talk about everything. Pubic hair has been in our conversations before :-P
