Today, I realized my wedding ring was missing. Turns out, my son had taken it to give to a girl he likes in the second grade. FML

Same thing different taste
Unhygienic or he's a natural hunter-gatherer
Today, I found my missing wedding band inside my 2-year old's pull up. It was accompanied by two coins, a Hot Wheels car, a pebble, and a dead bug. FML
Today, my wedding ring went missing. Later, my 3-year-old came to me crying, he'd got it stuck on his penis. When I tried to get it off, he peed on me. FML
Today, I found out my boyfriend was going to propose. He'd bought me a beautiful white gold ring that I never got to see. His estranged mom stole the ring. FML
Today, I finally found the jewelry my two-year-old son had lost when it got lodged in my foot. FML
Shiny shiny
Today, my 8-year-old daughter came home from school, saying she had gotten engaged and was wearing a ring. It looked real. Later that night, I got a call saying that their son had given my daughter his grandma's engagement ring. My daughter actually said no to the engagement, but still took the ring, FML
Lord of the lost rings
Today, despite been married for less than two days, my husband has managed to lose his wedding ring. FML
Today, I found out that my engagement ring was actually my husband's ex-fiancée's. FML
Where is it??
Today, I noticed I'd lost my wedding ring after returning home from a long, tiring day of painting our newly purchased home. After driving back and forth to the house for more than an hour to go looking for it, I found it tucked away in my back pocket. FML
Today, I went to a jeweler's to buy a ring to propose to my girlfriend. When I was at the restaurant, in mid-proposal, with people watching, I realized I had left the ring in the store. FML
Today, after days of looking for it, I finally found the ring my boyfriend gave to me. It was on my roommate's finger. FML

it's ADORABLE :] the little girl will probably either be smart enough to give it back, or she'll show her parents who'll make her give it back. Tell you're sin that you don't mind going to the dollar store to buy his 'friend' a ring

Or he took it off her finger while she was sleeping or grabbed it out of her jewelry box

Places that are safe from curious children are sometimes difficult to find (or create.) And maybe the ring was off her finger because she was planning on getting it resized, or it needed cleaning, or the stones needed resetting and she had planned to take it in that day?

She could have been showering or sleeping. I know some people take their rings off to bake.

How about you don't tell people how to parent?
LyricaSilvan 30
How about you realize, 242, that in this case it's necessary to point out that not letting the kid think this is okay is a thing his mom should do?

YDI for being a bad parent and not being able to teach your son that stealing is wrong. Even I knew that I couldn't take my parents' things before I even started school. **** his life for being born to crappy parents.

People often take them off while sleeping/showering/cooking/doing yard work/etc. so that they don't get lost or damaged, 9.
