Today, I’m learning to drive and finally felt confident enough to park in a tight spot with my instructor watching. I nailed the angle perfectly, but when I tried to get out, I realized I'd parked so close to the line that I couldn’t open the door. I had to climb out of the passenger side while my instructor pretended not to laugh. FML
Today, it's the tenth anniversary of me getting my driver's license. My record is perfect: no accidents, no tickets. Today is also the tenth anniversary of the last time I drove a car. FML
Today, after finally getting my drivers license, I was able to drive myself to school for the first time! I got fined $50 for accidentally parking in the wrong lot. FML
Today, I finally found a parking space directly outside my apartment after driving around for 20 minutes. I celebrated, parked, and walked upstairs. Ten minutes later, I realized I'd left my car running with the keys still inside. FML
Today, I spent an evening teaching my younger brother how to parallel park before his driving test. After an hour, he finally parked perfectly between two cars. I was so proud that I told him we'd nailed it. Then we noticed we were parked in front of someone's driveway. FML
Today, I was taking my driving test and everything was going perfectly. As I pulled back into the testing center, I smiled because I knew I'd passed. Then I got out of the car without pulling the handbrake. The examiner had to jump back in and hit the brakes before it rolled into an actual parked car. FML
Today, I found out that I have enough driving skills to manage to hit a pothole and have two of my tires go flat. FML
Today, I went to the mall and had to parallel park. It took me 10 to 12 minutes of maneuvering before I got into the slot. When I turned off the car and got out, there were 8 people laughing hysterically and clapping for me. FML
Today, I was stuck in stand-still traffic for 5 minutes, before realizing I had stopped behind a parked car. FML
Today, I went driving for the first time with my mom. When she wasn't screaming, she gave great advice like, "Stop at the red light" and "Don't crash into cars". I need to drive 50 hours with her. FML

Men generally have better spacial awareness, and therefore are usually better at maneuvering vehicles. As for the actual act of driving, I think it just depends on how attentive the driver is, and whether or not they know, and follow the traffic laws. I delivered pizzas for 3 years, and worked as a driver for a modeling agency for another two years, and have never been in an accident. I've been told by many people who have ridden with me that I am a great driver. Sometimes, however, it takes me 2 tries to parallel park :/

I used to have to parallel park every day last year. I would always try to squeeze my car into the smallest space I could. I once got it down to about 3 inches on either side, with my friend helping to guide me in so I wouldn't tap. I was so proud I took pictures :D

HEY I'm Asian. Well not really east Asian. More South Asian. Well more like west Asian. And I've only been in one car accident. And am only at -14 points. And my license has only been suspended once (which I drove on for months because I didn't know until I got pulled over by this copper late one night).
