Today, I married a wonderful man. Even though both of us were no longer virgins, we decided to wait until marriage to sleep together. He just told me I was the worst he's ever had. FML

OK, I know views on abstinence before marriage varies, but to my mind, YDI huge. If neither of you were virgins, and you were planning on getting married, the idea that you wouldn't have sex just strikes me as bizarre, with this being one of the main reasons. It's going to be a long fifty years.

I don't necessarily think what he did was too bad. He was honest, even if he was way too blunt about it. The fault may not belong to specifically either of you. Typically the intensity in sex is reciprocated by the partner. But the question is: are you not putting out the amount of energy you should, or are you just not doing what he likes?

ouch.. well he needs to help you, let him tell you what he likes, and vice versa. the best thing for a marriage is to experience different things.. especially In the bedroom

downside of abstinence

It'll get better.

blue jeans hair down chillin with some makeup on thats when you're the ugliest I hope that you don't take it wrong

oh NEVER wait til marriage!!!

Annulment anyone? Or kick him in the balls and tell him tough shit, he's married now...

someone needs pratice

good for you! just having the commitment to wait shows true love and commitment so who cares if you weren't good the FIRST time you slept together? you've got decades to learn what he likes and vice versa. YDI to all those saying she shouldn't have waited. sex is so common these days it's nearly meaningless so them choosing to wait is the romantic part, not the sex part... idiots

Well, hate to disagree but sex can still be meaningful without, ugh, waiting until marriage. Those who hold those views, good for you. This is what I, and many others here, believe. You need to develop healthy communication about sex and learn about what each of you likes.
