Today, I'm on a trip to Poland with some friends. We came to experience the country's culture, and to challenge our preconceptions about this part of Europe. We had sat on a bench, and not ten seconds later, a stranger approached and asked, "How much for your friend?" FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was at a local club with my friends sitting at a table when some guys approached us. One of them started telling me about his recent adventures through Europe and was very interesting. Something warm hit my leg and I realized the guy was urinating on me. FML
Today, I was at the Polish border when I found my passport was gone. I contacted the last place I stayed at and the owner said he would handle it. I reluctantly agreed as I was being charged international rates. Apparently, "taking care of it" means telling the embassy I'm retarded. FML
Today, a man sat next to me on a train carriage, despite various empty seats. During a weird conversation, I told him that I'm on my way back from London after seeing a friend from Germany there. He goes on to talk about Nazis and, with one arm in the air, asks me if he's doing the salute right. FML
We meet again
Today, at the airport, I was waiting for my best friend who's been away for over a year. I spotted her, ran over, yelled her name, and jumped on her back. It wasn't her. It was a complete stranger who was somehow more terrified than I was embarrassed. FML
Today, I met with my Bolivian friend, who's vacationing here for a few weeks. Eager to show him how welcoming we are in the USA, I took him home and introduced him to my parents. The first words out of my dad's mouth were, "Bolivia? That's in Europe, right? We saved your asses in World War 2." FML
Going underground
Today, I was riding on the Moscow metro. My friend and I were joking around in English about taking a nap on the nerdy business man next to me. As we laughed and made comments about him, which we thought he couldn't understand, he asked, "First time in Moscow?" FML
All cars look the same these days
Today, I hopped into what I thought was my friend’s car, sat down, and started chatting away about the trip to Vegas we were about to hit the road for. After a few moments of awkward silence, I looked up to see a terrified stranger staring at me. I was very close to getting maced. FML
Today, while on holiday in England, a cute boy came up and asked where I'm from. When I said Paris, he gave a look and said, "Oh, strange, I always thought Parisians were the most beautiful women in the world." FML
¿Dónde estás?
Today, an old friend of mine landed in Spain, where he's visiting me. After a few minutes talking about where we should meet, we realized the reason he couldn't figure out where it was, was probably due to the fact that he was in Barcelona. I live in Madrid. FML
Classic move
Today, I walked up to my friend and slapped her ass, because that’s what we always do. Turns out, it wasn’t my friend, it was a total stranger. FML

That money will come in handy if there's an emergency and you need extra cash.. Think about it, anything could happen in a estrange country

3 - And then he gets really happy because his mom gives it away for free.
OhDearBetrayal 25
So much win in this response.

Awkward moment when his mum is dead

How did you come up with the conclusion that their mom is dead?

#33 is an alleged threadjacker.

33 - Who said anything about OP's friend almost being sold? It's not like OP named a price and the stranger left because it was too expensive.

Well, did you sell her? You could've stayed at a better hotel with some extra cash.
lopsop 12
But it would be a lonely hotel room without your friend.
EnterSandman_fml 20
Eh, I always like a quiet hotel room.
rubberduckie94 13
How much money did you get when you sold her? Creepy though, reminds me of Hostel.

Who cares as long as your not being sold, to a headhunter

You are brilliant.

34 - I didn't get it till you said something. I then took my time and said it slowly, followed by equally slow clapping.
DomDomxoxo 16
Could someone explain? I tries slowly clapping while saying it. Didn't work for me
ImTheAlpha 30
51- Saying Pikachu slowly sounds like peek at you.
shannonreneee 11
51, say it slowly
NoisyNykkii 10
52- actually, it sounds more like 'peek at you' if you say it fast.
DomDomxoxo 16
Thanks guys! (:

But, I mean, if an actual pikachu was involved, that would be a pretty tempting offer.
DracoSpirita 21
86 - Indeed. In fact, the only possibly better offer would be a pikachu and bacon. Lots of bacon. But that's just me.
Needafarm 22
So French men don't ask the question and what do you sell her for there?
thatfrenchguy 8
Great joke.....take a lap
SkateboardGirl88 11
8- Da fuq did u just say?
paintedchocolate 30
No, a frenchman wouldn't have to ask for a price. He'd use his natural skills of wooing and charm your friend into coming with him.
DollyDope 17
So you're assumed a pimp and your friend a *****. She definitely drew the short stick on that deal. FHL

do you happen to know tygerarmy
tygerarmy 35
Zombies Vs. Vikings, I like it. Though it can only lead to Zombie Vikings. The world is doomed.
DollyDope 17
This guy? ^ negative, but apparently we're set to battle :)
tygerarmy 35
Say that they're not for sale.. Only for rent.
reddudeover 2
But if you break you buy.
ambowew 7
Pretty to look at, nice to hold. But if you break it, consider it sold!

Persuade with some perogies an he'll be on his way. Men are either hungry or horny. If his mouth is busy, the blood will rush to his stomach, taking blood away from his little head.
KiddNYC1O 22
I had Pierogies today filled with mashed potatoes and cheddar. So good.
br0ccoli 15
Yummy! I want to find a Polish bf with nice, recipe-sharing relatives so I can learn how to make them for myself. These boxed perogies from the supermarket are too mainstream. Delicious, but mainstream.
Eiregal2 10
I had to Google perogie, had no idea what it was, then saw pic, tis a pasty!
br0ccoli 15
It's not so much a pastry as it is a pasta-like outside with a cheesy potato filling.
conqueror57 11
They are surprisingly easy to make, just time consuming. We make them every Christmas.
kirrra 11
instead of that, try finding a good recipe online. a lot less effort.
MerrikBarbarian 9
28- I had to teach my polish bf how to make Perogis so good luck with that. :p Seriously, buy a Perogi press. It comes with recipes. Follow recipes and bam, you have Perogis. Time consuming, but so much better then store bought.
KiddNYC1O 22
How do you guys manage to misspell Pierogies after I've spelled it right? Nah, I'm teasing. I don't know of there's another way of spelling it.
br0ccoli 15
Good idea guys. I'll just get a press and a recipe. Kidnyc, I have no idea how it's really spelled. I just know it's delicious.
Hopka 6
Pierogi. Not perogi or perogies. Pierogi is already plural.

They're also ukrainian, not polish
