Today, I just found out my dad got remarried a year ago. The woman is officially living with us, I got to have lunch with her alone today. I found out she is only 22, with a 14 year-old little brother. My dad's 47. I'm 17, now with a 14 year-old uncle, and a mom that can pass for my girlfriend. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my dad told me he was planning to have his steady girlfriend over for dinner. He's only had a few relationships since he and my mom split up when I was very young, so I was excited to meet the woman. He then told me that I knew her already. My dad is dating my aunt on my mothers side. FML
Today, my dad told me he has been dating my boyfriend's mom while I was away at college. They have gotten pretty serious, and are thinking about getting married. I might be dating my stepbrother. FML
Is this guy Hugh Hefner?
Today, my dad is getting married for the 4th time. First it was my mom, then as they got older, he married a woman 10 years his junior, then his third wife was my age and 28 years his junior. Now at the grand old age of 64, he is marrying a 22 year old, 42 years his junior, almost 2 decades younger than me. FML
Pleased to see you
Today, I was introduced to my dad's girlfriend of six months. I've already heard them sleeping together several times, and seen her car pull away early in the morning. After meeting face to face, I also learned that she's only two years older than me. FML
Love is love
Today, I found out my dad is dating my dead mom's best friend. FML
New relations
Today, I found out my newly-divorced father is now going to marry my girlfriend's mother. Tough situation here. FML
Today, my dad introduced me to my half-sister. He'd only recently found out that he had another daughter by another woman, and had only just met her. She and I have been in the same class in school for the past three years. FML
Today, my mother got remarried. I am now officially older than my step-father. FML
Today, I found my dad on a dating website looking for younger girls. My mother and father are "happily" married, well according to her Facebook profile. FML
Patronising
Today, my dad married his fiancée, who insists I call her "Mom." I'm three years older than her, and went to the same high school. She's taking me shopping next week to buy me "something nice." FML

My dad is 49, his wife is 25, I'm 20. I feel your pain. Trust me, there could be worse things out there, unless she's a complete wench.

There's a certain degree of yeah sure, good for your dad. Maybe she really loves him, maybe she's just using him, maybe there's a bit of both. But that isn't the point- It's got to be hard for kids, teens, young adults to have a parent remarried, especially a dad with a young woman. Because that woman takes the "mom" role. And that has got to be, sorely ****** up. She was what, 5 years old when you were born? And now she's "mom"? Yeah, fyl. I'm sorry to hear this happens to often.

Your dad must either be very rich or be a hell of a good lover.

I feel really sorry for you. because your dad is such a loser, you have to put up with his insecure behaviour. he can only think with his dick, not his brain. apparently he can't attract anyone else execpt someone who is more than half his age. she's barely out of school! so pathetic! you can leave home soon, so I guess the good news is that you won't make a similar error in life. GOOD LUCK.

Girls aren't PHYSICALLY ready for children until they hit 11 / 12 / their first period.

I don't see anything wrong with the age gap in general. My auntie was probably 22/23 when she married my uncle, they've been together almost 30 years. BUT there is something very wrong with the age gap when you have a kid that close to your new spouse's age. It's like lusting over your kid. Maybe it's hypocritical of me, but IDK, something of your perspective just has to change when you have kids, right?
