Today, I finally matched with someone on Tinder after using it for a month. I sent a message and they unmatched. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Online Dating = Brutal
Today, I realised just how lonely I am. After using Tinder for about a week, I got my first match. I said hi while I was in class since I was excited, but by the time I'd gotten back home, she'd unmatched me. I've never felt so hurt by a complete stranger before. FML
Dating apps are hopeless
Today, after seeing that my Tinder profile has been stagnant for a VERY long time, I became desperate enough to purchase a 100x boost. The result? One of the girls unmatched me. Not that it matters. All my matches have yet to answer back. FML
The death of romance
Today, I was swiping on Tinder when the app told me there was one else left to meet. I haven't had any matches. FML
Today, I logged onto Tinder to see if I had any messages. I had one: "Get off Tinder." FML
Today, I matched with a woman on Tinder with whom I'd already talked on another dating app. The conversation had died out pretty quickly, so I was surprised she gave me a second chance. Her first message was to tell me how boring I was on the other app. FML
Today, I was matched with my boss on Tinder. FML
Trawling
Today, my friends yet again told me to hop on Tinder and other dating sites, saying how easy it is to match up, and I keep telling them I will soon. In reality, I've been on them for weeks, without a match. FML
Today, like for the last year, I’ve been on Tinder. I was having a great conversation with a man and we were planning a date for next week when he asked for my number. When I politely responded that I’d rather wait to exchange numbers after meeting in person, he blocked me. FML
What are the odds?
Today, I re-joined a popular on-line dating service. I'd first signed up 3 years ago and was matched with a wonderful woman. After about a year, she broke up with me. I was devastated. After two years of trying to win her back, I'd decided it's best just to move on. Guess who they matched me with? FML
Coming up short
Today, some babe finally super-liked me on Tinder, but didn't want to continue the chat after finding out I'm shorter than her. FML

Don't give up OP, there is someone for everyone! Tinder isn't the only option

And are you planning on going on dates with all of those 105 people? Because if you don't, that number's pretty damn meaningless and you should probably unmatch quite a few of them so you can focus on quality over quantity.

Seriously, how is knowing that going to make the OP feel? Way to depress someone already feeling sad.

Try out some other apps/sites if you haven't. I've used a lot of them over the past few years and Tinder had by far the worst quality of dates. Some real horror stories out of it! OKCupid was harder to find dates but they were higher quality people in my experience.

Tinder in general is incredibly biased towards looks. For those less gifted in that area like myself, one should have a stellar personality and a great bio, preferably with pets to help chances. Good luck!

This might sound a bit harsh, but there are two possible issues that I can think of: 1: There are red flags on your profile. A lot of people swipe left automatically if the person is for example smoking or has a picture of them with their ex (or someone who looks like they might be an ex) on their profile. 2: You aren't conventionally attractive. In that case, Tinder is NOT the app for you. It's pretty damn shallow by design, and many people swipe left or right based on the first picture alone and don't bother reading what's on your profile. You want some kind of dating site where people are more interested in your personality than whether or not they feel the urgent need to have a one night stand with you.

Not sure why everyone is ******** on Tinder, it's a pretty great app if you are just looking to hook up, which OP might be looking to do. A paying site is better if you're looking for something serious, but most people, probably including OP, don't want a monthly fee just to grab some quick ass. Of course, the downside of Tinder, and hook up culture in general, is that it is definitely geared to those blessed with good looks. It's shallow, but it can be worked around. Also, as mentioned above, you might have some major red flags in your profile scaring people away. Make sure your first pic is actually one of you, preferably just you,and avoid any pictures strongly promoting any political type ideologies.
