Today, my friends yet again told me to hop on Tinder and other dating sites, saying how easy it is to match up, and I keep telling them I will soon. In reality, I've been on them for weeks, without a match. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was swiping on Tinder when the app told me there was one else left to meet. I haven't had any matches. FML
Today, after a nice Thanksgiving with my parents, and the usual question about when I'll bring a woman with me to meet them, I absentmindedly launched the usual dating app. I swiped completely dry with no matches, reminding myself that my entire city doesn't have one person interested in dating me. FML
Today, I finally matched with someone on Tinder after using it for a month. I sent a message and they unmatched. FML
Today, at a time when dating app usage is at an all time high, in 3 months I've only managed 4 likes and one brief match on Bumble. I'm not terrible looking by any means, yet I'm weeks away from my 8-year anniversary of being single. Am I cursed or something? FML
Today, I've been single for a couple of months. The last time I was single, Tinder and dating apps didn't exist. After figuring out how to be successful with those and setting up several dates, I've already had 3 date cancellations for this week because of the coronavirus. It's going to be a long couple of months. FML
Today, I convinced my roommate, who’s been single for a while, to get back in the dating game. He downloaded Tinder. His first match was my girlfriend. FML
Today, I realized that every other targeted ad I see is for some sort of dating app. I've been single on and off for 5 years now, and it's starting to get to me. FML
Today, I realised just how lonely I am. After using Tinder for about a week, I got my first match. I said hi while I was in class since I was excited, but by the time I'd gotten back home, she'd unmatched me. I've never felt so hurt by a complete stranger before. FML
Today, I went on two dates from a dating app. The first one said halfway through that we couldn't date because it would break his contract. The second one catfished me. This is why I have multiple dates in one day. They never end well. FML
Today, I joined a dating website and spent all day filling out and improving my profile. My first match is a guy who relentlessly tried to date me for all 4 years of high school. Now he just has more reasons to tell me how much we're meant to be. We're a 97% match. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?

You could pick out your most trustworthy friend and have them review your profile and see if there is anything that could be turning off prospective matches.

**** those sights, reality outside the internet is how you meet someone. Go hit a bar or a bookstore, coffeeshop etc. Compliment someone on the street, and see where it goes. No offense to your efforts but technology is dumbing us down to do things a specific way and dating online has worked for people but what happened to having some backbone, approaching a woman and paying her a sincere compliment and asking her out? Anyways, goodluck in your quest.

Good tip... Could be phrasing or something odd in a photo that you just didn't notice. A new set of eyes might help!

Same here. Been over 6 months and nothing. I've had multiple female friends look at it and they say it looks fine. I guess the women on those sites DONT want a guy with a good job and his ducks in a row. Haha.

Don't go on those dating sites, it's a recipe for some bad experiences

At least you don't have a cheater and a liar in your life.
