Today, I fell asleep. I felt something on my face. I batted it away. It was my hamster. It died from a concussion upon hitting the wall. FML

Today, my cat died in the process of eating, and choking on, my hamster. FML
Today, my hamster died. It climbed out of its cage and jumped off my dresser. Looking for condolences, I told my mom who replied, "If I lived in your room, I would have done it earlier." FML
Today, I put my hamster in his ball, and spent about an hour cleaning his cage. When I came back, I realized he wasn't even alive. FML
Today, I woke up to one of my hamsters cannibalizing the other. FML
Today, my cat head-butted me awake as usual. I reached to pet him, but it wasn't his face I touched. It was the still-twitching corpse of the disemboweled rat he held in his jaws. FML
Today, I was looking after a hamster for a friend. My dog ate it. FML
Today, I woke up to my cat slowly dragging her paw across my face. I opened my eyes to see a bloody mouse dangling an inch from my face. It was still twitching. FML
Today, I made my way to bed around 4am after spending all night hanging out with my family. When I got to my bed, I started to clear a spot to lay down. Almost immediately, my hand touched something furry and cold and, fearing the worst, I turned the light on. Turns out my cat left me a half eaten rodent. FML
Today, I thought my hamster might be lonely, so I went to the pet shop and bought a new one to keep him company. The new hamster killed the old one. FML
Today, I woke up to what sounded like twigs snapping. Turns out it was the skull of a live mouse being crushed in my cat's jaws. FML

Hahaha my friend told me about this entry, i just HAD to search it and put it in my favorites, i was in school, feeling really sad because of some getting over issures, when she told me, i laughed like hell and couldn't even order my fruit shake right.

I killed my hamster too a few years back.... I was holding it, and I fell asleep and crushed him...

This is one of those things that if I don't laugh about it I'll cry. That's so sad but the picture in my head is so funny. I hope you get a new hamster.

my little brother did tht once..... wen he was like 5, he was playing with my hamster. It bit him, so he threw it on the ground hella hard and killed it. SO SAD!

#35, #40, etc: I used to have a hamster in one of those connectable plastic hamster home type things. It was located on top of a dresser across the room from my bed. My hamster chewed its way out the cage every night for almost a week, and would cross the room to cuddle in my hair while I was sleeping. The last night it never came to wake me up, and we never saw it again. Sorry for your loss.
