I caught my cat doing the same thing. So I brushed his teeth for him. It was an electric toothbrush. Hasn't happened again.

I work for a veterinarian, and I know for a fact that cat's have one of the filthiest mouth's of any domestic animal. Don't brush your teeth with that ever again, get a new brush, and keep it somewhere away from you cat!
