Today, I decided to pay a suprise visit to my boyfriend's house. I let myself in, walked up to his bedroom and found him dancing around. In the dress I had left the other weekend. FML

This. You have either an open-minded goofball or a crossdresser for a boyfriend. I fail to see how either are FML worthy.

completely agreed.

That's what I was about to say! Or, think of it the other way around: "Today, I decided to pay a suprise visit to my girlfriend's house. I let myself in, walked up to her bedroom and found her dancing around. In the pants I had left the other weekend. FML"

tell him to keep the dress that he'll need it to impress his boyfriend... then go find you a real man
TheTragicReturn 0
Do you know what a "man" is? Apparently not.
iwadasn 33
A real man doesn't wear dresses, obviously.
iwadasn 33
Then he might as well have a boyfriend, then? Thus the FML, because her boyfriend is gay and therfore is not interested in her.

Seriously? Who are you do decide what defines a 'real man'? A douche obviously. Go **** yourself. :3

What is a man? This is an interesting question. Many great minds have attempted to answer it. Take Rudyard Kipling, for example. I cannot resist copy-and-pasting it here! /quote/ IF IF you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream – and not make dreams your master; If you can think – and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, ‘ Or walk with Kings – nor lose the common touch, if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And – which is more – you’ll be a Man, my son! /end quote/ You can see that there is no "if you don't wear dress" here. But then again, it is obvious that if you meet ALL THESE criterias, then you're going to look manly even wearing a pink dress, openwork stockings, and high heels. But then again, it's pretty HARD to meet all these requirements. Men would feel that too much is required of them to be real men. It's much easier to believe that if you don't wear dress, then it's all that is needed to become...real.

I like very few of Kipling's poetry, only the most well-known. Let me spam some more. Here's one that consoles me when I start to beleive that I won't find a true close friend...The point of it being that finding a true friend isn't an easy matter. /quote/ The Thousandth Man One man in a thousand, Solomon says, Will stick more close than a brother. And it's worth while seeking him half your days If you find him before the other. Nine nundred and ninety-nine depend On what the world sees in you, But the Thousandth man will stand your friend With the whole round world agin you. 'Tis neither promise nor prayer nor show Will settle the finding for 'ee. Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em go By your looks, or your acts, or your glory. But if he finds you and you find him. The rest of the world don't matter; For the Thousandth Man will sink or swim With you in any water. You can use his purse with no more talk Than he uses yours for his spendings, And laugh and meet in your daily walk As though there had been no lendings. Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em call For silver and gold in their dealings; But the Thousandth Man h's worth 'em all, Because you can show him your feelings. His wrong's your wrong, and his right's your right, In season or out of season. Stand up and back it in all men's sight -- With that for your only reason! Nine hundred and ninety-nine can't bide The shame or mocking or laughter, But the Thousandth Man will stand by your side To the gallows-foot -- and after! /unquote/

mercyFML, I don't know of any straight men who would be caught dead in a dress...
Intoxicunt 6
There are straight men who wear dresses. 1-Effeminate does not equal gay. 2-Gay does not equal effeminate. There was a time when women with short hair were lesbians automatically and guys with ear piercings were gay. This is 2009. We're past that. Also, gender equality please? Why can women wear pants and combat boots and not be deemed gay, yet a man can't wear a dress IN HIS OWN HOME without being called gay? Hmm?
iwadasn 33
If he has the desire to just randomly wear a dress, then yes, there's a good chance he's gay.
joeyl1990 28
Actually cross dressing is more common amung straight men than gay men. It's not a sexual thing. Or usually not a sexual thing. The main reason has to do with stress and the other main reason has to do with feeling underappreciated
foolsangel 4
Or he could have just wanted to try it on.

I don't think you know Brad Pitt either, but he certainly exists. There are plenty of openly crossdressing gay men. There's even a mayor in a U.S. city that cross dresses and has still been reelected. Also, if you ever read a very famous book called "Breakfast of Champions", by a writer named Kurt Vonnegut, you'd know that society has been well aware of straight crossdressing men for over forty years. Please don't stereotype. It just makes you look ignorant, especially if you don't have any reasoning behind it.

I agree with both a man should be confident in his sexuality howeer if he was ashamed as you entered hes probably not doing it as a "free spirit" i just say talk to him and ask him why it happened. MY bf put on my corset to make me laugh and he's manly..^^
