Today, I carpooled with my co-worker whose girlfriend has left him. The radio was playing the song "Jar of Hearts." He then began to sing intensely, and broke down crying. FML

Today, I was with my boyfriend and we were in his car when he burst out crying, I thought it might have been because we had gotten into a huge fight and he felt bad. No, he cried on my shoulder for a half hour because he misses his ex-girlfriend. He's been writing songs about wanting her back. FML
Today, my love life is so godawful that I started ugly-crying when the song "Love Hurts" began playing on the radio while I was driving. I had to pull over. Several people passing by stopped to see if I needed help. FML
Today, I poured my heart out to my girlfriend with a serenade. After I finished, she told me she'd come over to tell me she'd found someone else and wanted to break up. FML
Today, I'm crying in an Uber because my significant other just broke up with me. I'm crying quietly but there's no way the driver hasn't noticed at this point. I'm OK with him not saying anything, but he also hasn't changed the music. All that's playing is Pink, and not the loud, girl-power songs, but the sad, slow ones about love. FML
Today, I was making out with my boyfriend. When we took a break and went downstairs, he checked the mail. He had received a letter from his ex-girlfriend, which he opened in front of me. He then began sobbing on my shoulder and broke up with me. He still had to drive me home. FML
Today, after an argument with my pianist girlfriend about how bad my favourite song would sound on the piano, she stormed out of the room crying, leaving behind a CD. It was the piano version of the song she'd made for me. FML
Today, my boyfriend wrote a song for me. As he was singing it to me I realized it was actually a breakup song. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me in the parking lot right before a baseball game, then convinced me to still go to the game in tears. After the game, we were walking back to the car and he goes, "So, how about some break up lovin'?" FML
Today, my boyfriend called me in tears because the love of his life has decided to move on with another man. He is currently on his way over to cry on my shoulder about it. FML
Today, I told my dad that I broke up with my first serious girlfriend. He responded by blaring sad breakup songs as loud as he could throughout the house, just to see me "cry like a bitch". FML

It does men no good, you say? That's one of the causes of our violent society. The body NEEDS to get feelings out, if it can't or you don't let it, it makes you phisically or mentally ill. And you know what usually happens? Men become violent. They have so much anger inside that end up fighting for the sake of it, hitting their women, etc. #19/26, you are a coward that is in constant fear of losing his imaginary manliness. So if the love of your life left you, you're saying a real man wouldn't cry? I say bullshit. When you invest in someone enough you will cry if they left you. My great aunt passed away from kidney failure, my great uncle who stormed the beaches of Normandy, fought in Korea, earned multiple medals including a purple heart (obviously more badass than you or I will ever be) was so devastated she died he past away two weeks later. Doctors never could figure out why he died he was a very healthy man even for his age, all they said was his heart just gave up. I would think he died of a broken heart because I see no other explanation. You say real men shouldn't show emotions I think my uncle was more of a man than you and he showed true emotion for the woman he loved, so much so he died without her. You sir are a god damn pussy.
