Today, I bought one of my favorite albums from when I was growing up. When I looked at the liner notes, I learned that my favorite song on the album wasn't about taking a bath, but about going to a brothel. My second-favorite isn't about moving, but about suicide. My childhood just shattered. FML

Today, while taking a shower, I was enthusiastically singing one of my favorite songs. When I got out, I noticed a bunch of things missing, and a note on my desk, saying, "Shut the fuck up, you suck." I was robbed and judged by a thief. FML
Today, I was getting ready, when I heard my dad in the shower. He was singing along to the song "The Wheel in the Sky" by Journey, except he'd changed the lyrics and was singing, "The dick on this guy needs a rubbin'." It turns out my mom was in the shower with him. FML
Today, my favorite band from my teenage years was played on an oldies station on the car radio. To make matters worse, my sixteen year-old niece who was in the car, had never heard of them. I’m only 31, but damn, I feel old. FML
Today, I was brushing my teeth and shaving in the shower. My favorite song came on, and I got mixed up. My tongue and mouth are cut badly now. FML
Today, my mom laughed about hearing me singing in the shower and told our whole family. I wasn't singing, though. I was masturbating. FML
Today, my boyfriend wrote a song for me. As he was singing it to me I realized it was actually a breakup song. FML

Kind of reminds me of when I was young and was shouting out the lyrics to "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin in the kitchen with my mom. Nothing like screaming "I'm gonna give you every inch of my love" out loud in front of your mom.

Hope you never go back an reanalyze any of those "Grimm" fairytales your parents read to you as a child. I still have horrid memories about little red riding hood, the woodsman, and the wolf. And don't get me started with Goldilocks and the 3 bears.

Three bears got their house broken into and their food stolen. Ending: not happy Hansel and Gretel push an old woman (they called her a witch) into an oven. Ending: not happy for the witch. Little Red Riding Hood's grandma gets eaten by the wolf. The wolf (an endangered species) is killed by the woodsman. Ending: not happy for grandma or the wolf. Should I continue?
