Today, after 6 months of training and going to the gym every day, I realized that the only thing I've lost is $300 worth of gas. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I realized that I spend more money on gas to go to my job than what I get paid. FML
Weight is just a number
Today, I was proud of going to the gym 3 times a week (instead of once a week) to get in relative shape. I even started doing light cardio and (I thought) started to eat better. I've gained six pounds, despite watching what I eat and even increasing the resistance on the exercise bike that I use. FML
Interesting dilemma
Today, I learned that as much as I try to save my money, it always just slips through my fingers. After rent, I got paid $280 yesterday, $85 went out on my gym membership, $95 went out on my internet, $125 went out on my Hello Fresh. I have to choose between half a tank of petrol or breakfast/lunch for the week. FML
Don't attempt this
Today, after I completely starved myself for a week and exercised every day in an attempt to lose weight, I instead gained 5 pounds. FML
Today, I hit the gym. With my car. FML
Take it easy
Today, I went to the gym for the first time in months. I was so out of shape that I couldn't even finish my warm-up. FML
Today, I finished the first month of a diet and exercise program designed to help me lose weight. To keep myself motivated, I have avoided the scale the entire time. I weighed myself today. I've gained 6 pounds. FML
Man vs Boy
Today, it was my first day at a new gym, which cost a fortune. Some skinny teen who had clearly never lifted in his life dropped a weight while I was stretching and broke my ankle. Money down the drain. FML
Yoyo
Today, after months of grueling hard work, I'd finally gained five pounds. Too bad I lost it all and then some, due to one good stomach flu. FML
Today, I paid $500 for a gym membership after moving into a brand new house, since 12 years of software development has taken its toll. When I told my instructor about my goal to lose 35lbs in two months, he simply said, "Yeah... That's not going to happen. Try another gym," and left promptly. FML

If your main goal is losing weight, try running or jogging in your neighborhood. At least you made an effort.

Next time jog to the gym. It's a win-win situation.

38- Funny, I did the opposite several years ago. :) I drank at least 2 liters of Pepsi everyday for 2 weeks to see how bad it would effect me: I gained 10 pounds. ;P

Run up and down stairs instead of the gym at home

Maybe find a gym that's really close by so that you can walk there? Extra exercise walking to and from (plus it'll work as a warmup an cool down as well) to and from the gym. More exercise for you, and less gas money(: if you don't have a gym close to your house, you could always just use some workout DVDs and exercise at home, I've used some at dance and they worked really well.

You should try looking up insanehomefatloss on Youtube. Or sixpackshortcut. They give you intense work outs that you can do at home. Saving you a lot of time and money. I found them about a week ago and LOVE IT. They also explain a lot about losing weight and help. They aren't paying me anything to say this, but it's been helping me feel great, both emotionally and physically, and the work outs are short and intense, incase you don't have a lot of time.

Focus on burning calories and eating less. Lost 40 pounds in 6 months this way. Went from 205-165.

If you're going only be weight, muscle weighs more than fat, so you could just be very muscular. (:

Don't eat anything that's quick and easy to make; like Top Ramen or Hot Pockets... fast food and the like. Try to buy organic, and avoid foods that contain any ingredients which sound like they were artificially created in a lab. Also, drink more water and add a bit of fiber to your diet. Works wonders. Anyway, FYL.

Not all about weight loss! If your cardio is up, strength is better, etc. then it has been all worth it- we tend to get too caught up in weight loss, when in 6 mth I am sure your being complimented for your features.
