Today, a little girl pointed to the acne on my face and said to her dad, "Look at how many mosquito bites she has on her face!" FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was watching my 2-year-old sister in the bathtub. As she was splashing, she stopped, and pointed at the "owie" on my head. I told her it was okay, and that it was just a pimple. She said, "Wow, you have a lot of pimples!" FML
Today, at Church, the little boy sitting behind me asked his mother if I had the chicken pox, because there were red dots all over my face. I've had bad acne since I was twelve. FML
Freaked out
Today, I was talking to my parents when all of a sudden my dad started freaking out and asking my mom how I got this really bad allergy on my face. My mom just laughed, and then I had to explain to him that it was just my acne. The worst part is that he was dead serious the whole time. FML
Today, at work as an optician, I gave a little girl a new pair of glasses and asked her if she could see better with them. She replied, "Oh, yeah, you've got two big zits on your nose!" FML
Today, my teenage daughter asked me to buy her the morning after pill, saying, "It's for my acne." FML
Late bloomer
Today, my daughter continues to have acne breakouts. She’s no longer a teenager, which means she isn’t washing her face. I can’t believe I raised someone who ignores her hygiene to this point. FML
Today, I was talking with some friends and the girl I like. During a lull in the conversation, she looked at me and said, "Ugh, I really wanna pop your zits." FML
Today, my mom tagged me in a picture on Facebook. It's a very zoomed in picture of a zit that had just recently erupted on my face. The caption is "My baby's biggest zit yet!" FML
Today, my 7-year-old daughter came up to me in a noisy mall and said "boo-boo" pointing to her hand. Not paying enough attention, I kissed her hand to make her feel better. She grimaced and said "No dad, bird poo." FML
Today, while looking in the mirror at my full-blown grease-spewing acne-riddled face, my father came up behind me and said, "Don't worry son, I had acne like that when I was your age". I replied, "No you didn't", and his immediate response while laughing was, "No, I didn't." FML

Kids say the darndest things and we really shouldn't pay any mind to it. There are plenty of acne medications you can look into btw OP.

Why did mine get denide?!? Today, me and my husband were thinking of baby names. He told me if we named a baby a beautiful name, it will grow up to be beautiful. He wanted to name him bacon. He was serious. FML

44- A) It is fake, how can you have a husband when you are male too? Unless you're gay; which wouldn't work either because "having a baby" It's not humanly possible for males.. B) It's not funny one bit. In other words, It sucks.

44 I know why your fml got rejected. it's cause it's fake and gay. did you seriously think that was a funny fml cause I doubt anyone thinks it's funny.

My little brother said the same thing to me a few years ago... But I've since mostly solved that problem :) OP, proactiv works miracles. I absolutely love it and I totally recommend it

Yeah very true. If the acne bothers you that much, get something for it. Plenty of things out there.

you can stop new acne forming, but the old acne takes years to heal

34 that's pretty much exactly what I was going to say, although I wasn't going to be as polite ^^

Most of the time severe acne can't be fixed with acne medication. It's usually just a hormone thing or stress related. Or both. It'd be nice if getting rid of acne was as simple as 'getting medication for it.'

Yeah the African swarming mosquitos are know to swarm and attack on first sight of a suitable prey.

Ignorance, I've had kids insult me and my appearance and I still thought it was cute. Hell you've insulted me quite a few times, kiddo! (:

Better mosquito bites than acne. I say: thank the kid for this brilliant idea and stick to the "they're just mosquito bites" story for the rest of your (acne)life!
Brandi_Faith 34
Haha! This also happened to me with one of the kids my mom babysat! He asked me what those red dots were on my face, knowing he wouldn't understand what acne was I just told him they were owies. He just said, "oh" and went back to the book we were looking at. I also thought that owies was a better term! I mean at least the kid thought you had mosquito bites and didn't know what they really were! Plus she was just curious and concerned. Nothing to be too ashamed about op!

You should have said back, "That's not mosquito bites, it's a flesh-eating virus, so back it up!!"
GeneralCha 3
Yes.... because I'm sure the kid would understand that o.O

I'd explain it and scare the shit out of the kid. hahahhaha
