Today, a girl I've liked for several years gave me her number. Finally, I worked up the courage to call her. It was a suicide help line. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, a cute girl I know in passing approached me very nervously and blushing like mad. She gave me a note with a number on it, said to call her, then ran away. When I called the number later, it was one of those rejection hotlines. What the hell? FML
Today, I called a suicide prevention hotline. No one picked up. FML
Classic been there, done that
Today, in a state of severe depression and fearing I might do the worst, I called my local suicide helpline. I was put on hold. FML
Hard pass
Today, I finally worked up the courage to write a girl a note, with my number on it, and the words: "You're stunning. Get in touch sometime." Heart pounding, I saw her, got up, and passed her the note. Then I passed out at her feet. FML
Today, a girl I've been crushing on for over a year finally gave me her number. I lost the note at home, but found it a few hours later. I excitedly called, only to find she'd written down the number for the local Pizza Hut. FML
Help
Today, feeling so depressed to the point of having suicidal thoughts, I texted a girl I had a crush on. Her response? "Can you please delete my number, you're getting annoying." FML
Today, I finally got the girl of my dreams' phone number. After texting her "Hey, is this Stephanie?" I got response saying "Sorry bro, I know how you feel, she did the same thing to me." FML
You freak!
Today, I called this girl I've had a crush on for 2 years to confess my love to her. However, as she picked up the phone, I got so nervous that I froze and couldn't say a word. I was standing there, breathing heavily for 20 seconds. She got so freaked out that she threatened to call the police. FML
Mean girls
Today, I finally got the guts to text this cute girl at school. I started sending flirtatious texts, only to find out the hard way that she'd given me her boyfriend's number. FML
Today, I got a call from the girl I like. I got very excited so I quickly picked up. As it turns out, she was actually prank calling me, pretending to be a "liposuction telemarketer" but forgot to press *67. FML

You know what stick a gun in your mouth and blow your brains out or accidently fall off a cliff. Better yet slash your wrists and lay in a bathtub. Just go die.

Hello ass face, No way in hell is it okay for you to call suicidal people dumbasses. You're the dumbass if you don't think suicide is a serious issue.

I'd like to know how you mistook a 1300 number for a mobile number. FYL for being an idiot, not getting screwed over by some bitch.

YDI becauase the suicide hot line is a 1-800 number. If you believed that she had a personal 1-800 number maybe you should kill yourself so you stupid genes can't further infect the gene pool.

Oh, hey, check it out, there are only about 100 suicide hotlines in CA that have local area codes... http://suicidehotlines.com/california.html... (just going off the FML saying CA, but I'm sure there are plenty in other states :P) Gotta love people who only use the internet to perpetuate their own idiocy.

Its funny you should say that because at that particular url there are barely over 100 numbers, many are 1-800, most fall into the catergory of a 'hotline' using a 1-8## or something similar (by most I am saying over well over half) . Also to note, the first two numbers on the page are for the US national hotlines (both 800 numbers). Also to note, the hotline numbers for the most populous counties in California are 800 numbers. So before you acuse me of being ignorant by using a website to refute me, maybe you should spend more than 3 seconds looking at the site. I am not infact ignorant, I was making a simple observation followed up by a grossly overdramatic statement (i.e. the suicide part) as a way of perpetuating the fact that FML is supposed be funny and that not only must we realize that this one, along with many others, are fake and that girls have been giving guys fake numbers for a long time and that some guy actually fell for the 'hotline trick' is probably due to his own incompitence. You are actually the one perpetuating your own idoicy over the internet by assuming everone that makes an incredibly insensitive joke about a terrible subject is stupid. So ....**** YOU!

ouch, #83...wait a go. I'm speechless.

Obviously she realized that you'd need that number once you found out you were rejected. Efficiency FTW.

Awe, that's a real bummer dude. Sorry. Girl is totally not worth it if she'd pull something like that. Don't feel bad, plenty more hot babes out there.
