Today, 50,000 copies of the new edition of the town's phone book came out. I manage a pizza place and bought a full menu ad. Apparently the ad designer got confused, as they placed my cell phone number in huge bold letters at the bottom of the ad instead of the store's phone number. FML

Today, I've gotten the most calls of my life. Turns out the idiot who changed the sign on my local Pizza Hut put up the wrong phone number. My phone number. I've already received 16 calls. FML
Today, after all of the business cards for the car dealership that I work for were printed, the phone number was wrong, and the lady got so pissed about getting so many calls that she told them that they had won a free car. I had to tell dozens of ecstatic customers that they hadn't. FML
Today, I realized after sending out countless copies of my resume to companies, I failed to add my phone number on it. FML
Today, I noticed that all 200 remaining business cards out of the 500 that I had made have the wrong phone number on them. FML
Today, someone posted online a listing for a bicycle for sale, and accidentally put my phone number instead of their own. I have received more calls in one day than I have from friends and family in a week. FML
Today, I needed new business cards so I went to design and print some. After I designed, I was happy with them and printed off 100 copies. I live at a place called Canal Rocks. I forgot the 'C'. I now have 76 business cards which say 'anal rocks.' I already distributed 24. FML
Today, after handing out several résumés for several jobs, I realized that I forgot to add my phone number to them. FML
Today, I looked through my girlfriend's phone book and saw two entries with my name. One had "(cute)" attached to it. I checked to see if it was my number. It wasn't. FML
Today, the magazine that had my ad in it came out. There’s never been an ad for my niche before. But there was a bigger, better ad for exactly the same thing before mine. Yet another failed business idea for me. FML
Today, my friend put my phone number on Craigslist. I still can't find the ad, but obviously everyone else can because I still haven't stopped receiving naked pictures. FML

Theres a way to switch the number from that to your pizza places phone and then get a completely new cell number. Just call your phone companies.

Good advertising for free. Just use the cell for the company and get a new cell... And of course, refuse to pay the ad. Win-win-win.

Call forwarding. If the restaurant delivers, they probably have a group cell plan already. Just transfer the cell number to a company account, forward all calls to the business line and get a new number for yourself. If there wasn't a proof for you to OK, bitch till the phone company pays for the costs involved.

Good plan Ms. Doe. I never had a group plan or whatever when I delivered pizza though. We made tips + minimum wage + 75 cents out of the $2 delivery fee.

#13 is spot on. Get all incoming calls to the cell redirected to the business phone and get a new number. Get the directory people to pay for both, unless they have a signed-off proof of the ad with the wrong number. The unavoidable problem here is that I imagine a lot of people wouldn't call a cell phone for a pizza because it looks unprofessional, or they'd get charged more for the call. All round, it sucks though.
