Today, I realized after sending out countless copies of my resume to companies, I failed to add my phone number on it. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, after handing out several résumés for several jobs, I realized that I forgot to add my phone number to them. FML
Today, I realized after turning in my resume to over 100 job openings over the past month, that the resume I've been submitting does not have my phone number or any other contact information besides my name. FML
Today, I decided to modify my resume since I've handed out over 30 of them in the past couple of weeks and I haven't gotten any calls back. As soon as I opened it on word document, I noticed that I had forgotten to include my phone number for employers to contact me. FML
Today, I realized I sent over 2 dozen job applications with my dating profile word doc instead of my resume. FML
Today, I applied for my first job. I didn't know how to write a resume, so I copied and pasted one from someone else and reworked it. I got on the bus, handed it in, and left. Then I remembered I forgot to change the contact info and date. FML
Today, I realized I had misspelled "Education" on all the resumes I've been submitting. FML
Template
Today, I made a digital contact card for my department that needed to be sent to payroll. Since we didn't have one before, I sent a copy to the rest of the department to use if they wanted. I didn't send the blank though. I sent 100s of people all of my contact info. Somehow, I managed to misspell my own name too. FML
Had any calls lately?
Today, I noticed that all 200 remaining business cards out of the 500 that I had made have the wrong phone number on them. FML
Today, I finished doing a resume that I had spent three hours on. I e-mailed it to the business I was applying for, satisfied. I decided to look it over. The first thing I notice, I spelt my own name wrong. FML
Attention to detail
Today, I wrote an email for a job offer. I checked it, double-checked it, triple-checked it, and then sent it. It's only THEN that I realised my CV wasn't attached. FML

they shouldn't even hire you if you are too dumb to make a resume. fyl

I agree with three.....a phone number is the most important! (somewhat)

The addressees will find this truly delightful. That's why you should always have and use a checklist. Reading over your application more than once isn't a bad thing either.

Use an example of a resume/cv to make sure you have everything on it. You'll find tons of examples on the internet.

No worries! When you do your follow up phone call notify the HR person who takes your phone call that you would like to update your information to include a phone number. If they ask why it was not listed tell them that you were in the middle of changing plans or just moved or something plausible...heck even tell the truth (they most likely will not ask)! This sort of thing happens and does not necessitate a deal breaker. What counts is that you follow up your resume, talk to a real person, and take action that shows responsibility. What's more is that in today's job market, employers prefer to send out emails anyway. Phone calls take time and an email takes less time.
