Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. She promptly had a panic attack and screamed, "No!" FML
Today, my girlfriend suggested we start using a safe word during sex - not because we're into BDSM or anything like that, it's just in case she gets bored and wants me to stop. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he loves me. Instead of saying it back, I had a panic attack. FML
Today, I worked up the courage to tell my girlfriend that I love her. She made a face like she'd just sucked on a lemon and said, "Um... yay, I guess...?" and awkwardly left the room. FML
Today, my girlfriend admitted she had a nightmare about having sex with me. FML
Today, I was having some kinky sex with my girlfriend. When I said "You've been a bad girl", she looked at me wide-eyed and asked very seriously, "What did I do?" FML
Today, my girlfriend confided in me that she wanted to try bondage. Since I trust her, I said sure. After I was tied to the bed, she tickled me until I pissed myself. FML
Today, I was making love to my fiancée, when she dug her nails into my back and told me to "choke" her like I did last night. I was at work last night. FML
Today, I told my girlfriend I wanted to tell her something important. Coincidentally, she did too. She wanted to tell me that she thinks she's actually gay. I wanted to tell her I love her. FML
Today, I was having sex with my girlfriend. Mid-thrust she says "I love you, Jeremy." Then in rapid succession, she fires off 2 other names. None of the names were mine. FML

Why do people keep telling them to break up? Just because she wasn't ready to say I love you back doesn't mean they should. What if they were only dating for a month? Just give it time OP.

If they're into a relationship that takes S&M to the level that "safewords" are required, it kinda is a big deal. It takes a lot of trust to get into the heaviest kink in S&M where you actually require safewords, and to be panicked by a "I love you" is actually kinda dangerous.

We'll some people just get freaked out when bring told I love you including me. And it's not dangerous. I could actually love you and you could know that but hearing the words still freak me out... Calm down there ^

Even minor kinks sometimes require safe words. They let participants know to stop, as something has gone wrong, even if it's just a mild kink. Truly heavy kinks require absolute trust, as communication may not be constantly possible.

Safewords are not only used when the play gets dangerous. It could just be that one party isn't liking something, or just gets a cramp after being tied up for too long.

You've trained her well OP, too well, firstly it should be about love & then about S&M, you've read too much 50 shades of Grey
Zebediabolical 45
It should be about love first? 50 Shades is to blame? I call major bullshit. The BDSM acts OP and his girlfriend are doing may have nothing to do with sex. I for one, started out as a rope enthusiast. Traditional Shibari, which is what I started out with, is an artistic use of rope without sexual overtones. Sure it can graduate that way, but it's not necessary. Loving someone that you're tying up is most definitely not a requirement, even when you're doing it erotically. Trust, yes. Love, no. I've since moved on to other things in the scene and made some great friends and partners. But I haven't loved any of them. Maybe I never will. It sure as hell isn't required by any means.

OP used Love! Girlfriend's Safe Word blocks Love! Girlfriend is unaffected!

She must trust you but maybe she's still in pain or not ready to commit. I do belive you should give it time because I know most s&m women seem to be afraid of commitment. It is strange but give it time and you will see where your spot in her world is.
