Today, I, an insecure high school student, told my 11-year-old sister that I got my period in third grade. She responded with, “What?! Then how come you didn’t have tits until last year?” FML
Today, my little sister walked in on me and my boyfriend. I told her I would give her 10$ if she just pretended it never happened. She agreed, walked out and shut the door. Later, when my parents arrived, she yells: "Nicole and Joe were naked upstairs!" FML
Today, I was playing with my 5 year-old neighbor. I was changing and he saw me naked. Then he went home and his parents came over. Apparently, he told them that I have beautiful boobs. FML
Today, I had to profusely apologize to a woman after my six year old son decided to crawl between her legs at the supermarket, then look up her skirt and loudly ask why she didn't have any panties on. FML
Today, while we had my husband's boss over, my 3-year-old son decided to burst into the living room naked and yell, "Mum, look! Penis!" and wiggle it around. FML
Today, my 12 year-old daughter asked me where her scrotum is. FML
Today, while I was babysitting, the little girl wanted to show me a picture that her mom had just sent to the family iPad via iMessage. Trying to be helpful, I clicked iMessage, only to see pictures of her father's erect penis. She won't stop asking about the "hotdog" in the picture. FML
Today, my 14-year-old son asked his dog what she was chewing on. It wasn't until he picked it up said, "Is this what I think it is?" that I realized my son was gripping my vibrator. As I took it outside, mortified, he told his sister. FML
Today, I was playing with my little nephew and began to tickle him playfully, even though I know he doesn't like to be tickled. When I was done, he looked me straight in the eye, punched me in the groin, and told me, "No one tickles me". He's six. FML
Today, my older brother managed to convince my younger sister that she's actually a boy, and that she'll soon be getting a penis in the mail, which she excitedly told everyone she could. He convinced me of the exact same thing as well several years ago. FML

At that age it's almost normal for kids to start noticing or be curious about what makes the opposite sex so opposite. As long as its just looking there's nothing to worry about

Well, it's more correct than "private parts" or "pee-pee." There's nothing wrong with knowing the correct word for an anatomical part. If it were sexual slang (like "dick" or "****"), then yes, I'd say kids are growing up too fast.

Yeah...my mum always made sure I knew what the proper names for things were. Children don't NEED to use baby words for everything. Knowing the word 'penis' isn't any loss of innocence.

When I was 6, I frequently took my bath with my brothers. And yes, I would look at their penis, because I didn't have one and I was curious. So I think they were just curious little kids who want to see the difference between them. Even after I learned how babies were made, a penis had no sexual connotation to me for years, probably until I was around 15 and I became interested in guys.

Please, no more "what's wrong with kids these days" comments. My wife saw her first playground penis at age 6 back in 1987. Nothing's changed.
