Today, I told my dad I couldn't make the trip to see him this weekend because I had to work. I surprised him by driving ten hours, and while he was out, I let myself in with my key and hid behind the couch for when he came in. He walked in. I jumped out. I then had to call 911. FML

It's likely that you're a teen which means you're supposed to sneak out anyway, it's in your nature. Chances are, unless you were committing a crime, you couldn't have been doing anything that bad to begin with. Either way. tell your mom, you would not want to have this on your conscience for the rest of your life, and it seems to me that this was not the first time he's done this. Tell her.

1. You didn't assume your dad was cheating on your mom? What other explanation could there be for him sneaking out in the middle of the night, into another house, with a bottle of wine? For real. 2. Tell your mom. It doesn't matter if she's a controlling bitch or anything like that. She deserves to know. My boyfriend cheated on me in November and a friend was covering for him and other friend claims he didn't know anything about it [which I don't know if I believe or not]. I knew something was up and I knew something was going to happen. Lo and behold, it did and I had to find out the hard way - seeing a giant hickey on the side of his neck.

lets just say that my pops cheated on my mom for 8 years and my whole family knew sept my mom and my sisters and i. i wish that my family had said SOMETHING over those long 8 years you know?! you should tatle!
