Today, I was supposed to go on a date with my attractive and seemingly charming neighbor. Yesterday, his house was raided and he was arrested for running a heroin ring. FML

Today, I was on a date with someone I've had a crush on for a long time. It was after midnight, we were chatting in the car and I was close to having my first kiss ever. That is, until a bunch of policemen popped up to arrest my date for being a suspected drug dealer. FML
Today, the couple who had written the offer we had accepted for our house withdrew it because apparently when they came by for the home inspection, my next door neighbor's teenage son tried to sell them heroin. FML
Today, my boyfriend got arrested. For robbing my house. FML
Today, I found out the friend I signed a lease with is actually a wanted drug dealer. I only found this out after the police kicked in the door at 5am and raided our house. FML
Today, I went on a first date with a guy I really hit it off with. Then he admitted that he was a recovering heroin addict and had to cut our date short to go to the methadone clinic. When I got home, I realized that my wallet was missing $40. I think he lied about the "recovering" part. FML
Today, I went on a date with my really attractive neighbor, and at the end, when I leaned in to make out with her, she shook my hand. FML
Today, my house was raided for drugs. I had to find out my father is a drug dealer. The cops then told me this wasn't their first time here, but it was the first time I was home to see it. They said it was nice to finally meet me. FML
Today, my engagement ring was seized by the police, and my fiancé was arrested on larceny charges. Both in the same visit. FML
Today, I found out that the dude I love has been taking the money I used to support him and buying heroin with it. FML
Today, I, someone who has experienced only one romantic relationship in my 35 years (which ended 8 years ago), was hit on by a homeless drug felon client at work. FML

hi this was my post.. the kid called me a few days later to apologize for ever putting me in any danger. he said that his roommates were selling dope without his knowledge. while skeptical, i do believe him if simply not for the fact that he was released and the others are still locked up. whole situation is escalated due to the fact that we live one block away from an elementary school. either way it seems i may have (quite literally) dodged a bullet on that one..

Or he rolled on his friends/roommates to receive immunity/reduced sentence/probation and that's why he's out walking around free. Or maybe he told you the truth. Either way I would be hesitant to get involved with that dude unless you can verify his story...sounds like you have sympathy for that guy. It is nice that he apologized but he was knowingly living with smack dealers. He had to have known about it, junkies are hard to overlook.
