Today, I found out the friend I signed a lease with is actually a wanted drug dealer. I only found this out after the police kicked in the door at 5am and raided our house. FML

Today, I discovered that my roommate is a drug dealer and has been keeping her product in our flat. I discovered this when several police officers broke down my bathroom door and arrested me while I was in the shower. FML
Today, my house was raided for drugs. I had to find out my father is a drug dealer. The cops then told me this wasn't their first time here, but it was the first time I was home to see it. They said it was nice to finally meet me. FML
Today, after my close friend had his baby, he told me that he was no longer going to be selling weed at his house. I was happy for him, because it's unsafe. Until I found out he was still selling at my house with the help of my roommates, without telling me. FML
Today, I rented a house for 5 years with my girlfriend, only to find out she is the actual owner. FML
Today, someone left their drug bag on the table in the lounge at my place, probably a friend, and probably a mistake. The next minute the cops knock on the door and force their way in. Immediately the cop spots the drug bag and cuffs me. It wasn't even my bag. FML
Today, I learned that the house I've been living in and paying rent for the past two months was never advertised as vacant. I learned this when the actual homeowners walked in, and called the police for an "intruder." FML
Today, police barged into my apartment for a drug raid, but they had the wrong address. They came in while I was naked on my couch and didn't even apologize for breaking my door. FML
Today, my friend told me he had just robbed a bank and needed a place to hide. Thinking he was joking, I let him in so we could hang out. Fifteen minutes later, the cops storm into my apartment. Now I'm an accomplice in a crime I thought was a joke. FML
Today, I was supposed to go on a date with my attractive and seemingly charming neighbor. Yesterday, his house was raided and he was arrested for running a heroin ring. FML
Today, my new landlord and lettings agent made an illegal entry into my house. Unfortunately, at the time my boyfriend was buck naked, smoking a joint on the sofa, surrounded by the cats we aren't supposed to have. FML

It's sort of fitting that they got you hooked before giving you low quality crap (in the forms of a signed lease and police raid respectively).

How would you know though? I can honestly say that I wouldn't be able to tell if someone is a drug dealer or not.

marijuana doesnt destroy lives.... frankly if your cousin was smoking an herb it wouldnt destroy his or her life... now when you start smoking crack,meth, and shooting heroin that could possibly destroya life.... but its not the drugs fault its the person who smoked it, so technically they screwed theirselves. #geteducated

I am pretty well educated on the effects of recreational drugs and long term recreation drug use. I'm also pretty well educated on the 'marijuana not even once' memes. Which is what this was referencing with the absurdity of the leap between smoking pot one time and then getting shot while smoking crack in the back of a police car.

Are they a drug dealer and they have a full time job? Cuz you typically need to show you have a LEGIT (legal) and reliable form of income to get a lease anywhere for anything

typically, yes but if at least 1 person can afford the whole rent by themselves, then the other person doesn't really need to disclose their job/income.. (that's at least in my situation) but the management company should have done a background check on everybody who signed the lease.
