Today, as it has done in the last couple of years, my dream job has only been accepting applications from students continuing their degree in the fall. Literally, people with half degrees can get what I can't get with a full degree and experience. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I received a series of rejection letters from jobs, one after the other. Last night, I stayed up into the wee morning hours to apply to campus jobs I'm not qualified for, because I was classified as a part-time student due to an administrative error. FML
Today, I eagerly applied for a high-salary, fully supportive graduate program that I qualified for. There were 5 steps in the application process. I was turned down after the first one. FML
Skill issue or…?
Today, my sister started a full-time job with a good pay despite having no prior work experience and being a college freshman. Meanwhile, I've graduated with two degrees, have been working two jobs for the last five years, and still can't get a full-time position anywhere. FML
Today, I'm at the unique point in my schooling that I'm either extremely overqualified or extremely underqualified for every job opportunity that appeals to me. FML
Back to square one
Today, I found out I can't earn a bachelor’s degree towards my dream career because I have previously gone to undergrad. I only went to undergrad because my parents convinced me not to pursue my dream career the first time around. I quit a brutal job to pursue this… but at least I had a job. FML
Computer says no
Today, I heard back from my dream job! I was declined by the computer system because I didn't include whether I was full-time or part-time. I work in a different department at the same place, and as part of the required documents I had included my pay records showing that I am a full-time employee of 12 years. FML
I could be happy
Today, I got my first job offer in over a year, a mere few days after being accepted to study for my dream career. My crippling depression won't allow me to enjoy any of it. FML
Today, I got my first job after having spent months looking, and graduating college in the meantime. I got it based on my pre-college qualifications. FML
Today, I had my first job interview since graduating from university. The person who interviewed me informed me that not using my degree after two years practically makes it null and void. I guess instead of being a financial advisor at the company, I could always be a janitor there. FML
Today, I submitted my 208th job application in less than a year, and went to my 83rd and 84th interviews, only to be told once again that I'm over-qualified for the first, and under-qualified for the second. FML

Maybe the figure they can pay them less since they don't have their degree yet.

Approach the company anyway - maybe not in this round of applications but find a contact in the company and see if there's a position you can apply for.

Read between the lines OP! This might be your dream job but the company involved is clearly after cheap labour! Now they might be good and genuinely provide student employees with additional training and mentorship to justify paying them less. But more likely the students will work like full time employees but get paid "student wages". If you have graduated and are currently working, you are in a far better position. Even if you are not doing your dream job!

Just lie and say that's what you're doing. You'll be in less trouble for omitting education you have than for claiming degrees you don't have.

I understand that bull shit.

There is indeed more to this story. I'm also from BC and am familiar with this situation. The company receives funding through a grant. The position is only open to students of a certain age (under 30, I believe) who are returning to full-time post-secondary education in the fall. It can be frustrating to not be eligible for a dream position (I've been there too) but there is absolutely nothing fishy about it.

Exactly what I was thinking (I'm also in BC).

I understand this. The job my major is for does this too. Only people who haven't graduated or people with like 5-10 years of experience.
