Today, I was writing to my girlfriend on MSN when her roommate answered, "Sorry, this isn't Marie, she's at her boyfriend’s." Really? I've looked everywhere in my apartment, and I can’t find her. FML

Today, I went to my girlfriend's apartment, but it was empty. I went to her parents' house, it was empty as well. She isn’t responding to my messages, so I guess I got ghosted in real life and online. FML
Today, I was very worried about my girlfriend of two years. She has recently moved into her apartment, and I hadn't heard from her for four days. Don't worry, though, she's fine. According to her mother's Facebook, she moved in with her old boyfriend. FML
Today, my girlfriend sent me a text message confessing that she's been cheating on me. Apparently she regretted telling me the truth, because when I confronted her face-to-face, she claimed her roommate had sent it as a prank. She doesn't have a roommate. FML
Today, I picked up my computer which had been at the repair shop for two weeks. I quickly logged on to MSN to talk to the girl who I'd been hitting on for weeks. Her profile picture was a photo of herself with her new boyfriend. FML
Today, my roommate asked me for help finding her wallet because it’s been lost for days. I helped a bit, but it never turned up. I left to go to my boyfriend’s house as I'd planned. Guess whose wallet I found laying on the ground next to his night-stand? And why it was there… FML
Today, my fiancée broke up with me. Via a myspace message. While we were in the same apartment. FML
Today, I took a shower at my girlfriend's apartment. I was wandering around, gathering my clothes when I noticed my girl doing her hair in the other room. She looked sort of peculiar, so I stood there, studying her. Half naked. I then realized it wasn't my girlfriend, but her roommate. FML
Today, I visited my girlfriend's apartment for the first time. I guess she forgot to do some spring cleaning before I showed up, because I saw my laptop on her couch. The same laptop that was stolen from my house along with several other valuables last week. FML
Today, I told my girlfriend over MSN that we had to talk. I log on to facebook and the first thing I see is that she changed our relationship from "In a Relationship" to "It's Complicated." FML
Today, I looked through my girlfriend's phone book and saw two entries with my name. One had "(cute)" attached to it. I checked to see if it was my number. It wasn't. FML

What if it's the roommate is lying? If it's a female roommate she may just be trying to get the boyfriend to break up with his girlfriend so she can have him. And if it's a male roommate well we already know where this is going. Of course it could just be communication of the worst possible kind you should talk to your girlfriend when you find her. Even if it is the garbage disposal or bathroom closet. Good luck OP

Dude, I just about killed my girlfriend today when I thought she was cheating on me. But she had this way of crying and begging that turned me around when I figured out that it wasn't logical for her to be cheating on me with her brother's friend who is four years younger than us both. (I get wierd suspicions sometimes!) Hope this didn't happen to you bro.

The room mate could have simply been misinformed - or perhaps the girlfriend is somewhere (eg out at a club or visiting a friend that the boyfriend doesn't like) that the boyfriend wouldn't approve of. It doesn't always mean she has another boyfriend somewhere.

Or maybe the roommate was just guessing, maybe Marie didn't say where she was going but she usually goes to her boyfriend's place so her roommate just assumed that was where she went. Or she was actually on her way to OP's house, but maybe had to make a stop first so it took longer than normal. Could be anything, really. Don't assume the worst without more facts.
