Today, I gave my boyfriend a $300 cooler for Valentine's Day. When I asked what he got me, he pointed at my stomach. I'm 3 months pregnant with his baby. FML
Today, my friend bought a smartphone and updated his Facebook status with it. Two weeks ago he signed an apartment lease with another friend. Four months ago he bought a new handgun. Seven months ago he bought a new TV. He's owed me $300 for a year and a half. FML
Today, after seven months of my supporting him, including paying all the bills, cleaning the house, and cooking, my unemployed "aspiring rapper" boyfriend finally got paid for his music. Did he buy me something nice? No, he called his boys to hit the club and pissed away everything he'd earned and then some. FML
Today, I should be spending my birthday with my boyfriend of 8 months. Instead he's visiting his ex, who's pregnant with a baby that "may or may not be" his. FML
Today, it's my birthday. My boyfriend’s birthday is a month before mine. I'd spent my birthday savings on his, but he told me that we couldn’t do anything for mine because, “I didn’t plan or organize better.” FML
Today, after working another double shift because I want to buy my boyfriend a really expensive anniversary present, I get to his apartment to find him calculating in how many paychecks he'll be able to afford a Caribbean getaway. For himself. FML
Today, as he was going out, I asked my father if he stop by the store and buy some tampons for me and toilet paper for the house, because we have been out for the last 5 days. He came home with a 30-pack of beer and cigarettes instead. I just started my time of the month and we have no more money. FML
Today, after having worked two jobs for months to save up for a big vacation, I came home to find my hard-earned money replaced by my boyfriend's brand new motorcycle. FML

I'm not going to lie, and I'll accept whatever thumbs down this gets. Both OP and her boyfriend are complete and utter irresponsible idiots for smoking pot with a baby on the way. You don't smoke or do drugs when pregnant. I don't know if OP smokes, but if her boyfriend does, then the baby is getting some too.

He was very likely a self-centered pothead when OP met him. Why would she expect that to change because she's pregnant? Sit him down and have a serious conversation about expectations and responsibilities. If he can't (or won't) man up, then move on from there. On the one hand, FYL for this being your baby daddy. I'll be the brutally honest bitch here and say that it's partially your fault, OP. Your boyfriend didn't get like this overnight. I'm sure he was the same POS when you met him and chose to have sex with him. Maybe next time you should consider the consequences. Don't give it up to someone you don't think will be a good father because look what could happen. Just because he got you pregnant doesn't mean that he is going to magically change into a mature and responsible human being. You'd be naive to even think so. Hopefully, for your baby's sake, you grow up and get your stuff together and create a life you can be proud of.

You should have done a better job of weeding out boyfriends before you chose this one. At any rate, if he keeps it up, his plans will go up in smoke. It won't be bong before he realizes he'll have to take some more responsibility.
