Today, I gave my boyfriend a $300 cooler for Valentine's Day. When I asked what he got me, he pointed at my stomach. I'm 3 months pregnant with his baby. FML

Today, I sent my boyfriend to the store to get groceries while I was at work. Instead of what I listed, he came back with hot pockets, ice cream and beer. I'm lactose intolerant and pregnant. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend I was pregnant. He seemed thrilled, and went to buy some wine to celebrate. He left 11 hours ago and won't come back. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I went to the doctor's for an ultrasound, as I'm 7 months pregnant. Then he went home and took his wife out to dinner for her birthday. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend was going to propose to me about three months ago. I was completely surprised and asked why he didn't. At that time, I had told him to stop looking at me like that and go buy me some damn tacos. I was 2 months pregnant then. Now he wants to wait a couple of years. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend of 4 years that I'm pregnant. He suggested we get a paternity test done. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I'm pregnant. He seemed excited, and said we should make the baby fat so he can bounce her on his lap and watch her double chin jiggle. Just to prove he's serious, he's been searching for high-calorie foods for babies. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend I was pregnant. He went outside for a "breather" and never came back. FML
Today, I turned down my boyfriend's proposal because I'm pregnant and I told him I didn't want people thinking that's why we were getting married. He… did not react well. Yes, he knows that I'm pregnant. FML
Today, my boyfriend bought another expensive bong to go with the one he bought last month, along with his new phone, airsoft gun, and various other things he's blown our money on this year. He's bought nothing to prepare for our son, though, who's due next month. FML
Today, after telling me his other girlfriend is pregnant, my boyfriend said we should stay together so I could help out with the baby. FML

It's ok, OP. You can now point at the stomach in response to several things. "Why didn't you go to the supermarket?" "Didn't you say you were going to do the dishes this time?" "What am I getting for my birthday?" The list goes on and on.

I didn't know you could spend that much on a cooler. You should take it back and get something to prepare for the baby.

Then maybe he should have said that also she spent $300 on a cooler if he wanted to save up he should have asked for nothing on Valentine's "because we need to Save for Valentine's Day" he's being selfish

Plenty of things you can do without spending money. I baked my husband cookies the night before, he made heart-shaped pancakes the next morning and then we went for a walk in the park we were married in, and went skating after. So many things he could have done, but her post makes it sound like he didn't do anything.

You guys should've talked about it beforehand, if this is your first Valentine's day together. Some people simply don't celebrate it and have good reason not to. He could've been nicer in the way he told you he didn't get you anything though.

Quite early to bring a child into the world though. Surely you can't commit to a minimum of 18 years' worth of joint responsibility after dating for one year? At least I think that's quite irresponsible.

#5 I got married to attempted to have a child with my present wife, even when she was still my fiance. We just made it to our one year mark together. It is a personal decision. And part of that decision is me being military

Clearly you don't get how hard conception really is for some people. Planned or not a child is the greatest "gift" anyone could ever get in life. In the same sense children are not for everyone and if you don't feel a child is everything to you then give the child up for adoption. Because in the eyes of a family that can't conceive adoption is the gift they've been hoping for.
