Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my dad got so drunk that he forgot my name. He started calling me "It". FML
Today, my mom struggled tried to say my name. She said my brother's name, my sister's, my dad's, my uncle's, and finally my cat's (who doesn't even have a human name) before she gave up and said, "You!" and pointed at me. FML
Today, I was sitting in my room watching TV when I heard my mother obnoxiously yelling for the dog. Minutes later she stomped into my room, swatted me over the head, and yelled at me for not answering when she called. She actually got my name mixed up with the dog's. FML
Today, my Dad told me that I was named after the dog he accidentally shot in the head as a teenager. FML
Today, I noticed that my dad scolds me in the same tone of voice that he uses to scold our two dogs. Gives a whole new meaning to being treated like a dog. FML
Today, I realised my dad speaks to me the same way he speaks to my dog when she's done something bad. FML
Today, I heard someone calling my name. It was my neighbor. Turns out they named their dogs after my mother, my sister, and me. FML
Today, I went to visit my alcoholic father. He remembered to ask me how my dog Reggie is, but could not remember the name of "my pal." My "pal" is also my wife of four years. FML
Today, for the third time, my boyfriend called his dog by my name. FML
Today, my husband informed me that his father adopted a dog. I replied "Cool," he then said, "She happens to have your name." I think my father in law is trying to send me a message. FML

What seems to be the problem, Fluffy? The real question you have to consider is: Are you a good boy? Are you a good boy?

So you thought your best course of action in this scenario was to come on here? You should be sitting your daughter down, explaining to her why what she is doing is wrong, make her WRITE an apology and then present it to the bullied HERSELF. Take away anything with internet access(barring school related needs). Failure to act on this and punish her because of it will make you a failure of a parent.

Legally change your name to the dog’s name - help your dad, and who’s a good boy :)

I've actually been through this before, but my mom trips over more names than just one...I've been called the dead dog's name, the dead uncle's name, and two living uncle's names...I live with her...there's a reason I'm not attached to my name. good luck
