Today, I received an e-mail from my girlfriend's parents telling me that all the dirty e-mails I've been sending to her while she is away have been accessible by the whole family. FML

Today, I realized all of my boyfriend's and my dirty messages were being sent to my mom because I'd logged into messenger on her phone once without logging out. She sat me down and said, "I know your mouth's been on his wee wee." FML
Today, I found out that in the three years I've been dating my boyfriend, his parents have secretly been going through all of his emails, including the ones I've sent him with "sexy" pictures attached. I can't look his parents in the eye without being reminded that they've both seen me naked. FML
Today, I got a text from a woman containing many naked pictures of her. Apparently she meant to send those to her boyfriend whose number is one digit from mine. The bad part? My girlfriend was using my phone when I received that message. FML
Today, after moving miles to be with my boyfriend, I logged onto his computer just in time to see his other girlfriend had sent naked pictures. FML
Today, I went onto my computer and found a cyber sex conversation between my sister and my girlfriend. FML
Today, I discovered the same erotic pictures my wife emailed to me while I was deployed were emailed to several other guys by her. FML
Today, my girlfriend and I were exchanging some naughty pictures. I accidentally sent one to everybody on my contacts, including my ex, my boss, and even Pizza Hut. FML
Today, I was feeling really horny. I decided to send dirty texts to my girlfriend. I sent the first and she didn't reply, so I sent more and more and then I got one back saying 'Stay away from my little girl.' FML
Today, I found out that the messages about the issues in my sex life that I'd been sending to my best friend had been sent to my mother via iMessage. She's coming over for dinner tomorrow. FML
Today, I found out that my whole family thinks my girlfriend is imaginary. I sent her a text in front of them telling her that. She never responded. FML

Why is it no one thinks that she could have left her email open by mistake and her family was having to much fun reading all her stuff to close it out. Op I feel for you hopefully your old enough and far enough along in your relationship so the family just laughs at it for awhile. Did she send stuff back??

Maybe I misunderstood the FML, but I read it as "while she was away" instinctively this made me think she went away somewhere on her own, but I guess her parents could have gone along as well, which would make more sense as to how they could all see the emails. It would be weird if they were logging into her email address from home while she was away.

Or even 20 minutes. If she'd have gone to the store and left the family computer ( or her laptop) on, not expecting to receive raunchy emails... That would make more sense IMHO. If they're short messages, many can be sent in a short amount of time.

I will probably get thumbed down, but when writing on any electronics it's wise to remember its will be out in the Internet somewhere forever, the Internet is not secure at all, and you have know clue who has anyone else's passwords. I am thinking your young and she was briefly away. In that case you should not be surprised when people keep tabs on their kids. If your older, well that's just kind of weird but still. You did it to yourself. 100 years from now someone will read that. Oh gosh a 100 years from now someone could read this

27, It really makes no difference in a personal and legal situation, why put your life on hold because there remains an off chance someone else might find out about it? What it comes down to is the individuals right to privacy, as some douchebag reading something that is none of their business and exposing said act to others is quite a rude and pathetic behaviour. Whether they are offended by the content or not, they're in no position to comment on it as it is none of their business. Personally, if I were him, I'd be pointing out that being a snoopy privacy breaching jackass is far worse than engaging in healthy conversation with a significant other, and if they didn't want their daughter exposed to this then maybe parenting is just not for them. The only situation in which this behaviour is acceptable is when there is a strong suspicion of illegal behaviour or to avoid harm, and if not found then the tactful thing to do is to keep whatever you do find to yourself. That said, I am responding directly to your point about her personal account being accessed without her consent, which I don't believe applies in this situation. It seems like a shared account that a dumbass girlfriend forgot to inform her boyfriend about.

She either has a very close family or a very nosey family. I'm voting for number two. But you do share in the responsibility here. Don't be sending "****-a-grams" to her if you know she's not able to access them herself. Oh well, lesson learned. By the way, do you think her mom and dad were reading them and then retreating into their bedroom to act them out? Good luck not feeling completely awkward next time you're at her house and think that not only did her entire family read about how you wanted to violate their daughter orally and anally in the same session but how her mom and dad might have done it as well!
