Today, I found out my husband is still friends with someone who talks a lot of crap about me. FML
Today, I found out that my wife is seeing a marriage counselor. With her ex. FML
Today, I found out that my ex-husband just had a baby with his new partner. We only split up a week ago. FML
Today, I had a long talk with my now ex-boyfriend. I explained why I'm not comfortable with him bringing up his new female coworker multiple times a day, talking with her about their kinks and fetishes, or possibly being around her outside of work. We've been together for nine years. He's only known her for a week. FML
Today, I was sick and tired of my husband talking to his female friend from high school all the time. They reconnected after 7 years and have been talking non-stop day and night, to the point of neglecting the marriage. I told him it was either me or her. He took off his ring and kicked me out of our house. FML
Today, I went on a coffee date with the man I've been in love with for a while. Before I knew what was going on, he'd started chatting up a pretty girl sitting nearby. I had to drink my coffee alone while he got her number. FML
Today, I found out that my wife had been debating leaving me for an old boyfriend from high school. They rekindled their relationship on Facebook, and talking on the cell phone. Both things I insisted she have. FML
Today, I found out my husband has been sleeping with one of the women in our marriage counselling group. FML
Today, I went on a coffee date with a guy I'm interested in. He picked up his phone mid-date to finalize dinner plans with another girl. FML
Today, my husband decided to start seeing other people. I found out when I called and interrupted his date. FML

I feel badly for you. It's terrible that you were a trusting wife, allowing your husband to keep a friendship with an ex that apparently was meaningful to him, only to have your trust betrayed. My boyfriend and I are both friends with exes, and we haven't messed things up over the years because we've chosen to be responsible. Of course, you could argue that that only works until someone stops being responsible. No matter what people tell you, though, there's no absolute, best method for how much to trust your partner. Hope you heal from this okay.

Haha, oh wow. I'm going to have to say you totally deserved this one. And for everyone saying it's okay to have a friendly relationship with an ex, that's fine, but when he's going out for coffee with her every week? That's a little suspicious. I don't see any one of my friends every week except for the one who lives in the same building with me, so for him to be doing that is kind of off.
