Virginity in the common vernacular is objective; once you have sexual intercourse (penile/vaginal for heterosexuals, anal for gay men and oral for lesbians) you're no longer a virgin. Purity and abstinance are subjective; for some, kissing alone breaks ones purity, while for others, the limits are much looser. At least, I hope that's what the bf means O.o
